Leftwing Snowflakes 'Triggered' by 'Racist' Gun Range Sign

Rebel Staff

This week, snowflakes found themselves "triggered" by a sign for a gun range that they deem "offensive."

A gun range in Camden County is resisting calls to take down two billboards that activists say aggravate racial tensions and mock NFL players who take a knee during the national anthem.

“It has absolutely nothing to do with race,” said Wesley Aducat, owner of the South Jersey Shooting Club in Winslow Township, which put up one of the billboards several weeks ago near Route 73 in Voorhees Township. The second appears on a digital sign near Routes 73 and 130 in Pennsauken. “It’s just support for our veterans.”

The signs say: “The only time we take a knee…” and show the silhouette of a person shooting a rifle, with the website of the club at the bottom.

Aducat said he supports the right to protest but doesn’t agree with kneeling during the anthem, particularly since many of the club’s members are veterans. He said he has no plans to remove the billboards.

That has upset the NAACP’s Camden County East chapter. It says the signs twist the message of kneeling, which is meant to bring attention to systemic racism and police brutality against people of color.

“We’re talking about police murdering unarmed black people,” NAACP member Keith Benson Sr. said. He called the signs racially divisive and has encouraged people to call the club to complain. “They deserve all the disrespect they’re going to get as a result of putting it up. But they probably thought they were clever. They probably thought they were strong, patriotic Americans.”

South Jersey Women for Progressive Change, a group that formed after the 2016 presidential election to empower women, has also told its members to call the club. Susan Druckenbrod, one of the group’s members, said she recently talked to an employee: “I told them the billboard was offensive, and he said, ‘That’s nice,’ and he hung up.”

This is a prime example of the hypocrisy that has become a staple progressives:

The NFL national anthem kneelers and those who support them think that they should be allowed to protest in any way they see fit. However, they also believe that any form of counter-protest launched by conservatives should be banned for being "offensive."

Many on the left argue that comments that reflect a conservative viewpoint or that contradict their own beliefs, constitute "hate speech."

There was a time when liberalism was full of open-minded free-thinkers who called for everyone to be open to those who are different from themselves. Those days are long gone, however, as classical liberals are left out in the cold and far left-wingers are attempting to taken over.

Stephen.. You would have to be “living in Hollywood” – or any of the major TV networks or newspapers! – to even imagine that anybody at the Black Lives Matter H.Q. questions even one weekend of the dynamics of “black on black” killings/crime in Southside Chicago…

Funny how the NAACP doesn’t seem to give a damn about blacks murdering blacks. Most black deaths are caused by other blacks. Then there are the unarmed whites killed by blacks. But as we know, that doesn’t matter, does it.

Last year 16 unarmed blacks were killed by police. Some killed by black police. Most, though unarmed, were a danger to the officers, such as trying to grab an officer’s gun or trying to kill the officer. Some officers were a disgrace to their uniform and the justice system will be taking care of them.

There is no rampant murdering of blacks by police. How many officers were killed by blacks? How many officers were simply murdered in the street or sitting in their squad car?

How many blacks were shot or died in Detroit last weekend. Who were the shooters? Other blacks. Where is the NAACP and its press releases about how that has to stop?

As a proportion of the US population blacks are disproportionately committing violent crime. But the NAACP choses to be blind to that.

I so applaud Mr Aducat!!! Such a Greatly patriotic act. These so called professional Athletes are completely exploiting their position cause if they were normal everyday people no one would care when they took a knee and I suggest if they were not in the limelight they’d likely not take a knee.

I hope someone makes a tshirt out of the Billboard. I’d be in for couple

I agree “Congratulations to Wesley Aducat, owner of the South Jersey Shooting Club in Winslow Township.” This shines a light on the disrespect some professional athletes have for a country that allows them freedom of expression.

Ah, the hypocrisy of the diversity advocates. Diversity is our downfall.
