Indeed!.. “Honour the spirit of the conservative cause”!! And that, in my 76 years on God’s Green earth, means speaking the truth without equivocation or apology, calling political bullshit for what it is everytime you see it, not screwing your constituents with “nudge-nudge; wink wink” backroom deals; and respecting the will of your constituents who elected you, without imposing your “intellect and moral superiority” on others… The latter being in all too display on both sides of the Canada/USA border these days, as Wallmart Generation screaming political brats are being catered to, rather than having their self-serving little pink bums spanked…

I am not going to say much. I can’t defend very much and I am too beside myself with grief to think clearly. I know one thing, I’ll actually show up at a Bernier party meeting right now and totally not a Andrew Scheer one. I won’t be members of either party and I have already spoken to wonderful members of your party in my riding. I love them. They’re wonderful & virtuous. I know you have a lot of work ahead of you and if your a trasparent party, why be afraid of any “spy”? I’ll surrender my things at the door. I just want to be a better conservative.
Up to you. But I thibk you should honour the spirit of the conservative cause above any authority.

Andy Neimers,
I can speak for myself. I hate Scheer too and want a united Conservative party. If you want me out, you truly are an upper crust Conservative. Your choice. Its your citadel, isn’t it?

Authentic “walk aways” are welcome.
commented 2018-11-20 12:53:42 -0500
As with the NDP ‘walk away’, who had a telling social media history was shown the door (when he tried to get into the executive) other disruptive interlopers with the wrong agenda will be shown the door also.

LIZA ROSIE commented: “Andy Neimers, Karen has said previously that she hates Bernier. Why would she be a member of the PPC? There will be some of that element in some of the meetings. Something to keep an eye open for.”

You’ve derived it correctly, Liza. Infiltration by liberals & scheer’c conservatives in PPC to misdirect & destroy it from within was my concern too & raised this issue at our first EDA meeting.

Oh, believe me Keith Barnes, you are certainly not “the only one”… There is an “undercurrent” of pissed-off Canadians who have had it with Politics As She Is Now Practiced, by the Ottawa elites… We have not had an honest debate on too many issues now for decades… And Canadians, who still hold their allegiance to the words of “O Canada” are revolting in the face of “foreign values set amongst us”…
commented 2018-11-20 02:56:35 -0500
Ok Karen… Seems our “fearless leader” Rick Stidston is booking our next riding meeting in early December at the Westshore Community Centre… In a “less noisy environment” than up to now!… Would be nice to talk to my fellow PPC’rs and actually hear what they have to say!
commented 2018-11-20 01:31:38 -0500
Andy Neimers, I’m in your riding.
I will talk to you if you want.

Meant to add: – is there any “conservative issue” that the Smiling Chipmunk has REALLY addressed since taking office???
commented 2018-11-19 23:53:59 -0500
Me too Glenn… Congrats… The Esquimalt-Sooke-Saanich chapter are having their third planning meeting and roundtable in early December… Spirits are very high going into the Christmas season…
commented 2018-11-19 23:49:10 -0500
OK, I will go along with all the rest of you guys. Scheer is a false flag Conservative. Trudeau is a false flag human being. The pair of them need to be removed from office. Sounds good to me ‘BUT’, will it happen? Only one way to do it, legally, is to vote for Bernier and the PPC.
I am a member of the PPC and I am not the only one from these pages.
commented 2018-11-19 22:43:46 -0500
Congrats Glenn.

John Galt-
LMAO!!! Okay, listen here… You’re hilarious. You’re probably right. You’re most likely angry and you still need to join the party to raise a little hell. That’s my view. Don’t chicken out. Seize the hill or I might have to and NOOOOOOOOOOBODY wants that. No freaking way. When I’m 35, I’m going to war to teach you keyboard warriors a lesson unless you get in there first.
Don’t let me have all the fun.

I would NEVER vote for Scheer-lead Conservative Party. Wait, I take that back. I would ONLY vote for a Scheer-lead Conservative Party if the only alternatives were the Trudeau Liberals or the NDP.

Scheer will never “take off the gloves” unless he has reviewed all polls, consulted with all factions involved(pertinent or not…), read all the Twitter comments, checked the phase of the moon, asked his Great-Great auntie and looked up the horoscope predictions for that particular day…..then maybe….possibly….he may squeak out a statement which he will retreat from / modify / rationalize / “…splain away” at a moments notice when fired upon by the opposition.
I have stated here before, the Pillsbury Dough Boy is not a Conservative. He will never be a Conservative. He does not know how to be a Conservative.
Liberty??he is not interested in liberty. He does not even qualify as a “Conservative Lite”.
He is a smarmy version of Northern Dancer aka Captain Crayon.

Scheer made a bad mistake when he assumed that all of his rank and file members were subject to the whip like his caucus members. I just became vice president of the PPC riding association in my riding last night. Had to declare all of my social media accounts for scrutiny. I am not on FACEBOOK and I am not on TWITTER. I did declare that I am here and I did declare what I do here…..that didn’t seem to be a problem.

Liberty means sacrifice. It means you love something enough to pay a price so it has choice, even if it hurts you.
Would you want your kids to have the choice of college or partners?
Would you want your neighbour to have a choice of color on their fence or garden?
How about you have the choice where to work and what hours? Where to live. What to believe & freedom to love it.
Same goes with government. You have the choice to vote for it, end it or change it. Parties are no different. They are yours to claim, always. And yours to leave.
The question is do you love liberty enough to suffer & sacrifice your time and beliefs so long as they mean liberty? You only know once you are involved.

Scheer is pro open-migration.
He refuses to pull out of the UN Global Compact for (open) Migration (signing ceremony next month). And therefore also condones the censorship and climate dogma contained therein. He says he’s “concerned” about the document, but won’t promise to pull out.
Bernier and his party is against the UNGCM and will draw tons of support from CPC based just on Scheer being FOR Trudeau-style open-migration.

Andy is going to win over the east.
The stranglehold of the Liberals is lost. Just the Maritime’s Conservatives are no Reformers.
You have to accept that and make peace.
Stop being selfish here. Show up, join the Conservatives and tell the old brass to take a hike. All those bossy cheerleaders and old big shots can f@$k right off. Its YOUR party. Its an actual party. And its charter is honest, even if the brass has lost its way.
We just had remembrance day and every coward shows their colors by not using the democracy teenagers died to have some day. You should be ashamed. Hold your heads down.
Or hold it high and reclaim the party your grandparents believed in. Not the CPC, not the Reformers or the CCP. Something else that your predecessors instilled in you since childhood. Its your turn.

Manny Montegrino has opined that Scheer is keeping his powder dry. And that makes a certain amount of sense to me.
The question that soon will be asked is, how much powder does Scheer have?
commented 2018-11-19 17:45:53 -0500
Excerpts from Scheer’s speech: “Principled, united, working together.” I don’t think so at the federal Conservative level with Scheer.

“The solution is the people”. Not so for Scheer for the people who support the Rebel. When he threw Sheila and Ezra out of their convention, it didn’t stop with just two people who were thrown out.

“Taking strong stances on issues that matter to Canadians.” Seriously?

“Ethics brings the Liberals down”. How about cutting a deal with the milk cartel that regardless of what the grassroots decided, he would have their back?

“Job #1 is getting rid of Justin Trudeau’s carbon tax”, and Scheer Is going to bring in an as yet undisclosed policy that will meet the Paris Climate Accord’s targets for carbon dioxide emissions reductions.

“The Liberals are trying to bob and weave on this”, like him still not revealing how he is going to meet the Paris Accord’s targets!

Bottom line: his one-note message, a balanced budget, without describing how to achieve it, is not very inspiring; no wonder that he is behind in the polls – complètement vide.

Scheer is an absolute gutless wonder. I despise the Liberals but Scheer seems closer to them then to conservatism. Come on Scheer wake the fu** up!
commented 2018-11-19 17:22:08 -0500
CPC’s inaction on every issue with each passing day it’s becoming apparent that Scheer took the leadership of CPC just to handover another victory to Turdo’s liberals.
I guess both andy & turdo failed to measure the massive support Bernier is getting in just couple of months.

Oh where, of where has your Andy Scheer gone
Oh where, of where can he be?
With his _____ so short and his balls all gone
Oh where of where can he be?

Good question for Scheer from Levy, “Who are you trying to win over? You’ve got the conservative base and want to reach the mushy middle”.

Except, I wouid question that he has the conservative base, especially with throwing the Rebel under the bus, supporting the Paris Climate Accord, etc. That was a huge mistake on his part and his handlers. He probably thought that those conservatives following the Rebel have no choice and will have to hold their noses and vote for him. Enter Maxime Bernier.
