Most Canadians think we have too many immigrants, so the message shouldn't shock normal Canadians. But it did offend the official thought leaders who worked all weekend to remove the billboard featuring Maxime Bernier.
The billboards weren't paid for by Bernier's PPC, but they still went up on Pattison Outdoor billboards across the country. Even the company that hired the billboards, True North Strong & Free Advertising, has been bullied into disavowing the message.
This isn’t just the deplatforming of a billboard or the silencing of the majority view, it's deliberate conditioning to shut up if you don't agree with the official narrative.
