No surprise: Corporate welfare bum Bombardier is already demanding a billion more dollars in corporate bailouts from Trudeau's Liberals.
And why not? Justin Trudeau is from Quebec, that back-slappy world of insiders and old friends.
As I told you earlier, he’s already appointed a senior executive from the Desmarais Family’s Power Corporation to head up his transition team.
But look at this news:
The Liberals, led by far left-wing MP Adam Vaughan are considering blocking the expansion of Billy Bishop Airport in downtown Toronto. The airport wants to make their runways longer to accommodate larger aircraft.
In fact, Porter Airlines has ordered $2.3 billion worth of new jets from Bombardier. They need those longer runways to use those jets.
So will the Liberals support their anti-development, anti-industry extremist MPs in Toronto, who are against the runway, and kill a $2.3 billion Bombardier deal. But what about Bombardier’s existing demand for a billion dollars?
You know, Ronald Reagan had the Liberals' number. He used to say, if something moves, government taxes it. If it still moves, government regulates it. And when it stops moving, government subsidizes it.
