Liberal Minister gives another BIZARRE excuse to avoid vote on electoral reform

Brian LilleyArchive

Canada's Minister in charge of Democratic Institutions just keeps coming up with weirder and weirder reasons on why we cannot have a vote on changing our electoral system.

Last week Maryam Monsef actually cited Twitter as a valid measure for consulting Canadians on changing the voting system, now she says people don't vote so we can't have a vote.

Will anything she says on this ever make sense?

This is all about the Liebranos determined to bring in dictatorship under the guise of “electoral reform”. Trudope has already publicly announced his “admiration” for dictatorships. The Liebranos love power and the ability to become rich at taxpayers expense. Seems like a good fit!

Yes but J.T.our P.M.from Que loves all musliams.

Just look at that fuckin’ smirk she has on her puss.I’d expect nothing more then stupid answers to any questions posed to a moslem, especially one sitting as a minister in the IMPOSTER pm’s LIEBERAL government….

What would we expect, a twit brain would consult twitter.
commented 2016-05-18 09:47:27 -0400
So, Maryam Monsef, what is wrong with doing both types of consultation? Sure, you go ahead and consult through Twitter and other “modern” forms of engaging people and then hold a referendum for all those people that do not use the “modern” forms of communication in a referendum.

Are those people that do not or will not use the latest technology for communicating their opinions of the reform meaningless people?

Do both!!

Make sure to get everyone, Maryam Monsef!

But of course the left wing idiots call Harper a dictator, what a joke.

Maybe she should consider going back to Afghanistan and getting into politics over there.

Why would a government led by a Prime Minister who is on record as admiring China’s dictatorship, and which is determined to rig the electoral system to keep itself in power permanently, permit the people to vote on that? This is not a government or Prime Minister that respects the will of the people. This is a government and Prime Minister that believe in maximum raw power in their hands to do with as they please, and the people be damned.

It is disgusting to think that the future of our democracy is being decided by this Muslim C*NT who came to Canada from Afghanistan. She is a supporter of the Canadian branch of CAIR which as most know is a Muslim Brotherhood organization that supports terrorism. She also has said that she is “fascinated” by Sharia law. How long before she introduces Sharia Law in Canada?

What is sad is we do not have a real conservative opposition to counter this C*NT. They are all a bunch of CUCKS who are afraid of being labelled Islmaphobic.

I don’t have a second choice period. Does that mean I am not allowed to vote?
commented 2016-05-17 23:18:12 -0400
Well, they are doing such a bang up job with their democracy in Afghanistan. Hell, this minister can’t tell the difference between a functioning democracy and a failed state.

This is the sort of genius that survives gender-parity. Of course, JT recently ended discrimination for transgenders, so maybe parity in that area will offset the females’ irrational behaviour.

What a stupid bitch. If people don’t want to vote they won’t do it. You can’t track them with Twitter. She’s fucking retarded if she thinks anything on the internet is valid to gauge what everyone wants.

So 1/2 the people don’t vote, they don’t want the other half to vote either. If they go to a ranked ballot system, how about if I make the same party my first, second and third choices. Does that work or am I going to be forced to vote for someone I don’t want? As for representation on the panel, 4 from the Liberals for their 39%, 3 from the Conservatives for 36%, NDP 2 and Bloc and Green the last one. That represents all parties based on how they did in the election.

She does not care, she looks stupid, and often smug. The liberals don’t think it can be stopped.

So much for democracy, that’s not the 2st century way.

Since no other media organization has the integrity or intelligence to challenge Minister Maryam Monsef, could the Rebel organize a petition to the PM to strongly suggest that she be removed from her portfolio before she causes both predictable and unforeseen damage. And note that she takes her directions from our amateur PM, so he is in fact the one responsible for any problems her activity causes Canada — so he can’t just use her as a scapegoat in the future. It’s a shame that our PM has never had any government management experience.

And they are assuming the electorate is too stupid to realize that this is only all about increasing the odds that they will stay in power forever which they believe is the way it should be because they know best, therefore it’s all for the good of the country. They simply cannot trust Canadians who might make the mistake of voting in the conservatives like they did with Harper. How so very patriotic. This is scary stuff because they just might be right about the stupidity of Canadians.

She seems absolutely obsessed with making sure that everyone in the country who doesn’t give a hoot about anything to do with politics and never has suddenly starts to give a hoot. The libs must be paranoid that the only way they can ram this through is to get every uninformed voter in Canada to back them up. Only the libs could be so corrupt as to use such undemocratic ploys to get their way while claiming its all to make things more democratic.

The previous government was interested in changing the Senate, but instead of charging ahead with swords swinging like Genghis Khan, they first sought advice from the Supreme Court, thereby saving Canadians a fortune in dollars spent and efforts wasted.
This change is no different, in that it amounts to the equivalent of a constitutional amendment, but the Liberals see it as just another informal opinion poll. Civil wars have been triggered for smaller reasons.

Dictatorship is a form of government where a country (or group of countries) is ruled by one person or political entity, and exercised through various mechanisms to ensure the entity’s power remains strong.

Here we go. Another sign this. Why don’t Canadians get off their lazy fucking ass and shoot every last one of these over paid pukes. Take back our country. Oh right. Wouldn’t want to not go to work and pay taxes. Brain dead idiots. You can sit there all day and say I’ll do some thing when someone else does something but tell me this, how in the hell will we know if someone tries to do something when the msm doesn’t tell us shit and the cops cover every thing up.
