You know, it's not what the Liberals say that tells us the most about them. It's often what they don't say. Or rather what they refuse to say.
Exhibit A: An order paper submitted by Conservative MP Rachael Harder.
That order paper question asked the government to define what the prime minister meant when he told an audience in Argentina that there would be adverse socio-economic impacts by having large numbers of men working in construction on energy projects in rural Canada.
What Harder got back as an answer was weird even for the Liberals:
A verbatim transcript of Trudeau's remarks in Argentina.
That was it.
No explanation. No clarification. Just a transcript. I’ll attach the documents on the website so you can see for yourself.
We know what he said. It's on video (and I cringe every time he bumbles through his idiotic remarks.)
We want to know what he meant (even though we all know already: He thinks our husbands, sons, brothers, and fathers are all as demeaning to women as he is.)
