Liberals attack Scheer as “radical” for defending free speech

Brian LilleyArchive

It is one of the most fundamental freedoms and yet there are fewer champions for free speech each and every day.

But, with the election of Andrew Scheer as leader of the Conservative Party of Canada those of us that value free speech have a champion.

Yet the Liberals are attacking Scheer as a radical for supporting one of the most basic freedoms.

Watch as I explain the latest Liberal attack on Scheer.

The University cartels all over the US and Canada are doing their utmost best to shut down speech that disagrees with their ideology. This is ,with out any question an all out attack on anything that supports the Charter of Rights and freedom of speech. Scheer’s policies are spot on to defund any university practicing this anti freedom policy. The NWO Globalists ( big world banks and multi national corporations) have been controlling universities now for years. Brain wash young , clear minded intellects ( the future leaders of our country) and you effectively have the country in the palm of your hand.

Jimmy Reece liberals say things that would get them fired as well, and who the hell are you or any employer to police free speech?
commented 2017-06-01 00:30:27 -0400
Jimmy Reese, (hey there buttercup!) you are a flippin bottom feeder troll. Things were getting too hot for Jack Carter so now you come back as your old self Reeces pieces!

how long has Azam Ishmael been in the country.
Crap, it’s the liberals who are making politics, “divisive and negative” !
We are not all stupid sheep willing to march over the cliff at the call of the leader.
I sure hope Scheer has the fortitude to fight these vampires.

Dan Mancuso, thanks for sharing the lame Liberal fundraising pitch. Maybe send them a nickel and tell them to spend it wisely!

This is the latest LPC fundraising email, I thought some may find it…interesting:

“…Bring this message to two million Canadians, Dan
Azam Ishmael via

to me

Liberal (logo)

Dan – the last few days have been very important to our movement – so let me bring you up to speed.

On Saturday night the Conservatives elected Andrew Scheer as their new leader, and he wasted no time making negative attacks on Justin Trudeau in his victory speech.

Unfortunately, Mr. Scheer is reverting to the same negative and divisive politics that Canadians rejected in 2015 – and the same failed Harper-era polities that left middle class Canadians behind for 10 years.

We know that is the wrong direction for Canada, because we’re seeing that the Liberal plan for a stronger middle class is working. In the last eight months we’ve seen the greatest job gains in 10 years.

With the new Conservative leader in place, we knew that we would need to be ready to respond.

That’s why, just over 48 hours ago, we launched our new “Positive Politics” video message online – and since then it’s been viewed by nearly one million Canadians!

Will you chip in $30 or more before our May deadline, and help share this message even further?

Remember: every dollar you give will help reach more and more Canadians.

It’s clear that Canadians are looking for leadership that brings people together. Leadership that is focused on the real priorities of Canadian families – like good middle class jobs, a clean and healthy environment, and training to help Canadians get the skills needed to succeed in a changing economy. Leadership with a bold vision that makes Canada a model for inclusion that is recognized throughout the world.

Ahead of our May deadline tonight, I’m asking you to chip in and join the 3,209 Canadians who have already given $176,521 online this month. In doing so, you’ll help bring our positive message to as many Canadians as possible.

Give $5 ➜

Give $30 ➜

Give $50 ➜

Give $100 ➜

Or give another amount:

Thanks for everything that you do.

Azam Ishmael
National Director
Liberal Party of Canada

PS: If you haven’t already seen our video message, take a moment to check it out here, then chip in afterwards…"

Ohhhh Canada…

Free speech is hated among the liberal establishment, including the courts, and that explains why so many of us do not use our real names. Defamation law has been so twisted that stating OPINION is basically actionable. The working poor here never have a chance against the legal warriors that will do anything to silence any dissent.

Glenn Craig,

Being self employed makes no difference. If the companies you deal with are aware of the things you say, they would also take their business elsewhere.

The only reason why I use an alias, is because they censor and ban me on The Rebel which is ironic since we are talking about free speech here.
commented 2017-05-31 10:21:23 -0400
@Jimmy Reese…which is why so many outspoken conservatives are self employed. Which is why ballots are secret. which is why YOU use an alias because we could get you fired too.
commented 2017-05-31 10:09:36 -0400
Allan Peterson,

Apparently it’s not obvious enough, since conservatives constantly say things that would get them fired if they employer was aware of the things they say online.

There will be less free speech and free press when the M103 law is created.
But will Scheer hold his ground? I doubt it.
He’ll be threatened with fines and jail.
He risks losing his job for committing criminal acts: breaking the future M103 laws against free speech
He’ll be called racist, bigot, fascist, Islamophobe, etc.
His children will come home crying and bruised, “they called you really bad names, Daddy, sniff”
How will he feed his nice family if he loses his job or goes to jail?
When you live in a “basic dictatorship”, you must toe the line or suffer the consequences.
Scheer doesn’t seem like the type who’s willing to risk it all for our rights and freedoms. Hope I’m wrong.

Yeah protecting a charter right is so radical….to a degenerate hypocrite media that sequel like a stuck pig the moment their free speech is censured. .

@Drew Wakariuk…amen brother. Professor Peter March used to hold “philospophy busks” in order to de-mystify philosophy and make it once again “vernacular” in a public “agora” in the tradition of Socrates. One of the first things observed was that there really was no “agora” where such a thing could happen (and the group was continually looking for venues to stage it)…in particular was the campus of his or any other university. Here were all these beautifully landscaped grounds and government funded architectural jems of buildings..a veritable paradise…that no student actually wanted to spend one more minute in than they absolutely had to….because the speach code made it absolutely stiffling….and all of the staff, students, and alumnae….not to mention all of the liberals in society….thought that Canada was the campus of their alma mater writ large…speach codes, no smoking edict, and all.

Fuck liberal academia…they are the ants at the picnic…they are the one size fits all overbearing conformity…they are the problem not the solution.

Peter Netterville the useful idiots do seem to think it will only be applied as they wish, they are pretty ignorant of history.
commented 2017-05-31 00:42:04 -0400
Wendy Lynn are you serious? They do not run the planet like they think.
commented 2017-05-31 00:41:20 -0400
Jimmy Reece we know that, it does not change the fact that the left wants to censor, and one day that will include you as well. But also remember that it should apply equally to everyone, the left does not think it should , that is part of the problem. I would hope the thought of the government jailing you and wrecking your life for not towing the line scares you as well.
commented 2017-05-31 00:39:58 -0400
The under 25 anti- free speech have no future anyway. Which boss wants to hire a leftist SJW who can’t support free speech of his boss? No one I know and have known. Don’t try to pander to them on the left, otherwise conservatives will lose.
commented 2017-05-31 00:09:44 -0400
Scheer made a grave mistake taking this hill to die on. He needs the vote of the university types and they seem to have no issues with self-censorship. I wish he were more like an O’Leary who could get the under 25 vote by appealing to them and getting them excited over their futures.

I’ve always thought that a certain amount of respect for those you disagree with and democracy would prevent this lunacy. Boy was I wrong! People like Fidel Trudeau and his ilk are weak and have no business running a country. How anyone can call or even refer to this guy as a leader is beyond me.
BTW in the days leading up to the federal election the liberal website claimed that the liberals where the champions of democracy and defenders of the constitution. After seeing this I emailed them and asked why then would they vote in favor of C51. The answer of coarse was typical double talk and BS that didn’t even attempt to answer my question. This government is selling us out and the sad part is I don’t think there’s much we can do to stop it at least not as long as doing the popular thing trumps doing the right thing when it involves the charter, the constitution and protected free speech.
commented 2017-05-30 23:37:24 -0400
@Jimmy Reese….then you don’t have free speach do you…so what you do is you elect someone to speak for you….and after you retire and they can no longer break your rice bowl you speak for others who are sick and tired of the spike that is driven through their tongue….and if you are going to make threats and dire warnings use your real name Jimmy Reese….you cowardly piece of shit.
commented 2017-05-30 23:30:26 -0400
Jimmy, thanks for that statement of the obvious.
commented 2017-05-30 23:14:12 -0400
Just remember that free speech isn’t a bullet proof vest against consequences. A lot of free speech crusaders forget that part. You are entitled to say whatever you want, but your job has the right to fire you for your free speech comments.
commented 2017-05-30 22:57:32 -0400
@Brian Lilly…I encountered this before in MGTOW. Brian it is important that when you report this that you not refer to those who would take away free speach by the pronoun “they” nor by any other collective identity. “They” have names….if “they” do not have names then “they” are a figiment of your imagination and “they” do not actually exist.

By refering to them as either “they” or any collective identity like “the liberals” you grant them an unfair advantage….Andrew Scheer has a name and has put that name on the line…..

So what in the Hell are “they’s” names Brian….I want to break “they’s” fucking rice bowl and give “they” a taste of “they’s” own medicine.

And until you do that…I know this from experience…you will make no progress and “they” will find Andrew Scheer easy pickings….

So please update us Brian…..who said this? I want names.

RICK PLESNIK commented 3 hours ago. Stated.
Wait until the M 103 blasphemy law comes into effect! Prepare for a China/Cuba style dictatorship!

Rick, Don’t no about China but Cuba for sure, with this Stumble Bum we have for a PM. How long will it be before he starts to spend Taxpayers money, to shut down The Rebel.
commented 2017-05-30 21:43:24 -0400
Bring it on Liberals that’s an issue, free speech, that the Conservatives are willing and able to engage Canadians. Can anybody be so dumb that they would say we don’t want free speech? Oh ya, the leftists and the Liberals.

Liberals champion this style of free speech:
Freedom for me, but, not for thee!

These hypocrites will eventually feel the burn!
