Liberals side with plants over people, delaying urgent Ottawa hospital upgrade

Brian LilleyArchive

The Civic Campus of Ottawa Hospital that serves the downtown and the entire region, was built in 1924 and is in need of an upgrade and replacement. Everyone agrees something should be done with the 92 year old building but now, the green ideology of Minister Catherine McKenna is standing in the way.

Watch as I explain how the Environment Minister is causing delays due to her green ways and the Liberals seeming to want to undo everything the Conservatives have every done.

The Liberals would rather put the health of all those people serviced by this hospital at risk, rather than surrender some land.

People do die on route to hospital from heart attack, massive stroke, vehicular accident, poisoning, attempted suicide, etc. Transit time is critical, life or death, every second counts. Location for quick access to treatment is paramount for saving lives, obviously. If the hospital is moved further from Queensway access, some will die, literally. It’s a no -brainer, but that may be giving McKenna and her comrades too much credit.

The Trudeaus – and the Liberals – are back, and hard at work turning Canada and all that made it great, into rubble, for their Globalist masters to build their Brave New World Order on…
In a Representative Parliamentary Democracy, in a country who basically invented Responsible Government, how does one get rid of those traitors infesting the power structure, betraying us and giving away our country?
In the USA, where it is illustrated in the Bill of Rights, and the teeth of the 2nd Amendment to back up the rest of those unalienable rights with, they have a mechanism, “…being necessary to the security of a free state…”
Short of storming Parliament and the various legislatures with pitchforks and burning torches, is there a legal mechanism to give Justin and his Crony Criminalists the boot with, before it’s too late or after the fact?

Ah, but the Liberals have other plans for that tract of land – plans that will reap them huge financial rewards. Mr. Baird made the mistake of giving it away for $1. Watch what will eventually happen on this piece of acreage! And it will not be a hospital!

This is typical Liberal ideology! They are so envious of the previous Harper government that they will do anything and everything to disassociate themselves from any reminder that the Conservatives did form government for nine years! There does not need to be any rhyme nor reason for their decisions! After all, “We’re back!”

So it seems more and more that Baby Doc Duvalier… ah… er… ah… Baby Doc Trudeau (getting harder to tell them apart) is running a government with ministers who are as bunny-brained as he is.

Sixty acres out of nine hundred that just has grass and not being uses as intended. The previous government approved… oh, yes, Stephen Harper’s government. Mustn’t let that go without including the native population’s input, environment activists, CO2 “experts”, SJW demands that it not be built because it will displace field mice, should natural gas pipes be allowed to be installed, and are the materials biodegradable?

So, wait for the next Conservative government in four years for approval. Problem may be that dear Justin’s minions may have shredded and then burned the previous reports and hospital plans. Well, it does have the contamination of the Conservatives. Selling land for $1? Criminal! Needs the Trudeau touch: site of the new Ottawa region mosque for the Syrians he plans to bring in next year. Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen, or should I say dhimmis?

Lloyd Nolan….sure, an omnipotent imaginary friend just poofed us out of nowhere. That’s much more believable than natural selection and the constant advancement of species over time.

I was born in the Ottawa General. Don’t understand why making a new, functional hospital on unused land next door should be a problem. The local people need it. People that have been going here for years might have problems with a hospital located some were else (Hull)?

I’m sorry, but I have to laugh. The citizens of Ottawa voted overwhelmingly Liberal. All city ridings went to JT and Sunni-shine Band. If the polls there still show a Liberal majority, then there really is no complaint.
Don’t complain for them Brian. It seems apparent that they really don’t mind what McKenna is doing.

The Liberal palms have not yet been greased over the matter. When they get their corrupted entitlements, then and only then will they move ahead with the project.
