Liberals “scapegoat” lawful Canadian gun owners after Florida shooting

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale is promising more rules for lawful Canadian gun owners in the next few years and is taking encouragement from the American calls for gun control after the recent school shooting in Florida.

Goodale told Ipolitics:

“we're working on the final detail right now. It's just about ready to go to the house. I hope to table it in Parliament within the next few weeks.”

Those previously promised reforms include requiring gun retailers to cooperate with police investigations and to keep sales and inventory records - like a registry.

The Liberals previously promised to “tighten up” rules around transport permits for restricted firearms and it would seem that accosting lawful firearms owners will be the only Liberal election promise they may actually keep.

But it’s really not about keeping promises. Since when do Liberals do that anyway? This is about changing the channel away from the Liberals disastrous trip to India and preying on our emotions about the Parkland shooting to do it.

It’s shameless and unfounded.

Watch my video to see why we should all be frightened by a government that takes its policy cues from poorly coached child activists in another country, rather than evidence.

And let’s take the momma bear and cub thing to the next logical conclusion… What about the big male bear defending his territory and everything else he knows and work for that’s his.. he will defend the hell out of it up to and including with his own life if necessary..!!! Why you might ask…?? Because it is his.!!

I like this quote from an article I came across a couple of years ago titled:
Canadian Self-Defense Law: Three Things You Absolutely Must Know

“Try messing with a bear cub and watch what happens next. Will anyone cast recrimination on the momma bear? Nope, protecting her babies is what she does and once again, you are an idiot and completely to blame for your own stupidity. Her momma-bear right to defend herself and her cubs is absolutely proper, blameless and supersedes any foolishness written by people. Should they apply less to people?”
“There are those Darwinian humans that self-righteously expound such ridiculous thought, believing themselves to be morally superior in their victimization.”

No offence taken Mr. Peterson… I completely understand and understood your point of view.. Fire arms to me are in every day necessity that practically never come off the shelf except for a few months a year.. And it is disturbing how the left view THE INALIENABLE RIGHTS OF MEN AND WOMEN IN A FREE COUNTRY…!!!

Flat Earth, its funny how James pours contempt on anything he doesn’t agree with. Magan Carta is the foundation all rights in Commonwealth countries. It is his logical fallacy du jour: chronological snobbery. If it is old and doesn’t suit him its irrelevant in some inexplicable way. If its new its irrelevant in some inexplicable way.

“Chronological snobbery is an argument that the thinking, art, or science of an earlier time is inherently inferior to that of the present, simply by virtue of its temporal priority.” Wikipedia

Flat Earth I was just having fun with you. Hope I didn’t offend you. I should learn to put a smiley face after since it can be hard to tell a joke from sarcasm in print. Keep up the good work. But as for me I really like guns. They are great in every way in competent hands. Just like chainsaws, chisels, baseball bats, knives, cars, airplanes…..

Arthur Weinreb of the Canada free press called “Trudeau’s Opportunity to Welcome Islamic Terrorist back to Canada”. How ironic that here is Ralphy Boy wringing his hands concerning all those nasty legal firearms owners while he will be welcoming back a convicted terrorist with mental and drug issues. What could possibly go wrong Ralphy?

Can’t wait for them to go to some of these para military compounds in the USA and Canada to take away their automatic weapons . Might surprise 1or 2 but the rest will be waiting and I think all hell will break loose . Same goes for all these gangs . They are all packing , I’m sure Trudeau and Trump can convince them to give up their weapons . They both have a better chance of having a period especially Mr. dress up .

Actually you answer your questions in the same fashion that Justin Trudeau answers his… You totally avoid the substance of the question and respond with anything that you like and you think you’re fooling people… The only person you might be fooling is yourself and your presence on the site is merely an annoyance because you don’t have the ability to sway people with your less than candid effort.. you are not a threat to liberty you’re just an ignorant, misinformed, poorly guided, sexually abused as a child troll.. good night you anal irritation.!! 🤡

I absolutely answered your question.

Your scenario is not my reality or the reality of most Canadians. Canada is safe country with minimal crime and violence by comparison to other country standards. The only way that I would feel more safe in Canada than I already do is if Superman existed and lived in Canada.

I was sexually abused as a child.

LOL.

How can you as an adult even make such a claim and think it’s reasonable and rational to even suggest such a thing. Is there no filter from your brain to your mouth? No, I was never sexually abused, but thanks for your kind concern. You make me laugh at how unbelievably stupid you are – I will give you that.

I also answered your other question, but you don’t understand the things you read – I was CLEARLY referring to your incorrect sex ed comment.

That’s not what I asked you.!! you’re avoiding the question.. in fact you’re avoiding both of my questions so thank you for answering my questions as I can fill the blanks in with what you’re avoiding.

I couldn’t feel more safe in Canada. I am sorry you don’t feel the same way. I would have ZERO use for a gun just like most Canadians, but again – no one is trying to take your guns away.

And there Bobby boy would you really want to live in a country where you couldn’t defend yourself when one of your liberal buddies turned on you and wanted to kill you or damage your property… Is that really how you want to live..?? What about when someone breaks into your house doing an armed invasion on you and with a gun you could’ve stopped it before it started but with you’re pacifist ways they broke into your home unabated and sodomized you raped your wife and terrorized your family and then stole all of your worthwhile possessions… I’m sure you would change your tune… But I know you’ll say that kinda thing never happens in Canada but actually you know what it does it happens every other day and doesn’t make the news. So if that kind of thing never happens in Canada then nobody has to get shot for doing it… nothing to worry about then right.? But if the criminals try anything you’re already armed and not harmed..!! No… I think it’s better to have guns and not need them then to need them and not have them. “My right to protect myself my family and my possessions trumps your right to diss arm me for your ungrounded paranoia”

Also there Bobby boy you avoided my question… I wanted to know which question you were answering.. the one about the Liberals and project pedophilia or the one about the parents and the little boy in drag.?

That’s where you’re wrong there Bobby boy I do have a fundamental right… Magna Carta still exists in Canada… It’s just buried under a lot of red tape but it is there

Masked mob wreaks havoc in Hamilton’s west end

Oh Hamilton what have you become. The police stood by and watched 30 masked men trash the West end, because…. why?
We should have a right to protect our property. Where does it say we have to stand by and watch as we are vandalized, robbed or worse? Who pays for the damage, lost revenue or personal injury?
That one women in her driveway lamented that this is not what we do in Canada, well news flash that was yesterday, this is the new norm.
commented 2018-03-06 00:12:01 -0500
Well you don’t have a fundamental right to own guns in Canada, since there is no second amendment in OUR country, but having said that – no one is coming for your guns, so there is no need for you to be so ridiculously paranoid.
commented 2018-03-06 00:05:26 -0500
I apologize .. I was only speaking for myself… I have a large/huge amount of collectables and I simply will not give up my firearms. To me they are simply possessions and they represent a fundamental right to own to keep and to bear and use if and when necessary for many different applications, military or civilian.!!

Al Peterson… I think I was severely misunderstood when you critiqued my comment.. I am an advocate of open carry… I support castle law… I am a fire arms owner… I am a fire arms collector… My firearms license takes me all the way up to prohibited ownership which is no longer being issued … and I will keep them regardless of circumstances… Love them.?? no I do not… but I do find them to be necessary to my life much like natural gas or insulation in my home or running water, my 4 × 4 or my skinning knives or my scotch collection… I didn’t mean to offend you but I hope now you get my point..
commented 2018-03-05 23:33:02 -0500
Al,

Yes, we discussed this before. Hunters and for sport are the vast primary gun owners, because there is a lot of rural areas across Canada. Most Canadians are against guns otherwise.

Bob… As a non-gun owner do you think you know lots about owning guns in Canada.?? Like I said before we don’t love our guns…

Whattt!!!! What are you some kind of lefty pinko? I love my guns. Especially my new Husqvarna on a 1900 action in 6.5×55. Its true. Probably one of the silkiest actin ever built. And that crisp 2 lb 4 oz trigger. MmmMMmM. My rifle and pistol, they comfort me.

Guns are good. Guns are beautiful. Guns are works of art- most of them any way. Guns are mechanical marvels. Guns are helpful. Guns make me feel secure. Guns are a good time. Guns reduce stress in my life. Guns are a rewarding experience especially those days with sub-MOA groups. Guns are a great after church activity with friends and family- especially breaking clays followed by a weenie roast. What’s not to love?

The facts on Canadian gun culture:
“According to the United Nations, Canada ranks third among the developed
western coutries (behind the US and Norway) in civilian ownership of
firearms.40 A 1992 survey sponsored by the UN reported that 26% of
Canadians, over 7,000,000 people, own firearms.41 A 1991 Justice
Department telephone survey indicated there were an average of 2.67
firearms in one of every four Canadian Households, with 71% having
access to a rifle, 64% to a shotgun, and 12% to a handgun. They
calculated that there are over six million legally owned firearms in
Canada. Other authorities insist that this estimate is much too low and
that there are at least 20,000,000 rifles and shotguns in Canada; as
many, per capita, as in the United States. 1”
