Life taken too soon: Brussels terror attacks and Rob Ford's death on budget day

Brian LilleyArchive

The terror attacks in Brussels, cancer in Toronto, both took life too soon. On an already busy news day these events make you take stock.

Normally the federal budget is the biggest story, event on Tuesday pushed it to third on Brian's list.
Listen as Brian talks budget with David Akin, Rob Ford with Joe Warmington and hears from a socialist on how the budget isn't mean enough to well off Canadians.
Also Brian juxtaposes Stephen Harper on terrorism to Justin Trudeau.

pretty crappy audio Brian – distortion and low record levels

Did the budget have any money allocated to anti terrorist security and border screening?
