Ghada Sadaka, principal of Sir Wilfrid Laurier Public School in Markham, apologized last year for sharing Facebook posts critical of Islam and refugees.
In a new article about the principal being on leave for medical conditions, the CBC brought up Sadaka's past “controversy”.
Included in the story was a screen shot of Sadaka sharing Rebel content. The story in question is The Truth About Refugees: Facts every Canadian needs to know.
Without mentioning The Rebel, the state broadcaster captioned the screen shot saying “A Facebook post on the page of Ghada Sadaka deemed offensive by some Mulsim parents and students at her school in Markham.”
