Lorne Gunter: Trudeau's federal oilsands exemption is "meaningless"

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Sun columnist Lorne Gunter joined me to discuss Justin Trudeau's plan to exempt to oilsands from his new environmental assessment standards.

The exemption means the oilsands will instead be subject to the (slightly) less harsh standards set by Rachel Notley's NDP, which is meaningless if Trudeau implements his new rules for pipeline construction.

WATCH my interview with Lorne to see how the new standards, that give Indigenous "traditional knowledge" equal standing with scientific research, will mean energy companies will continue to avoid Canada.

Alberta,s economy has been emaciated. Billions gone tens of thousandsof lost jobs.
Good luck getting transfer payments in the near future turdo.
All the while turdo sends billions of tax free dollars and jobs to foreign oil To line the pockets of liebral contributors. Then leans on veteran charity,s not to accept our donations.
