Luke Skywalker silenced: Mark Hamill to stop criticizing new “woke” Star Wars movies

Ben DaviesRebel Host | Rebel Reel Reviews

Actor Mark Hamill will forever be linked to his iconic role in the original Star Wars movies: His Luke Skywalker has been voted one of the best movie characters of all time.

But apparently, this doesn’t give him the right to criticize the direction the franchise is going in, at least according to the bosses at Disney, which now oversees the series beloved by tens of millions of fans around the world.

Hamill isn’t the first to express these “You wrecked my childhood” complaints about the way Star Wars, and other pop culture touchstones, are being altered to express more politically correct themes.

But come on: It’s MARK HAMILL! Doesn’t he of all people have a right to speak out?

Apparently not. He’s just announced that he has taken a Jedi vow of silence on the topic. What a shame.

And isn’t it funny that, meanwhile, Brie Larson has been able to voice her (weird) opinions about Captain Marvel fans…?

With the disclosure that Princes Leia (Carry Fisher) was a tranny and that Han Solo (Harrison Ford) had a thing for zher in spite of knowing that…the idealism became, for me, just one more buddhist lesson that life is a chronic state of disillusionment and disappointment.

“Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”….it shall also make you jaded and cynical

Luke’s story had an arc, he started as a boy distracted from his daily chores by dreams of adventures across the stars. As an apprentice to the crazy wizard and the little green toad man, he had many failings and failures, thought he knew better than his coaches. Then he grew into a fully formed warrior. And eventually into a disillusioned veteran. Hopefully they continue his story where he comes full circle and actually restores the balance as predicted. Drinks from the Grail like Arthur did and defeats his Mordred in an epic last battle. Rey’s story sucked axe through a silly straw. She started out knowing how to do things Jedi Masters spent lifetimes training for. It was awful.

Oopsy!! Why does Hamill not concede his position as Luke, to Lesley Jones?? If it does not happen this year, it will happen next year… It’s a brave new world out there, for the Bitches that claim to be Empowered…. Was that too subtle?
