It is one year ago to the day that the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attacks took place. The attacks have not stopped since.
Sky News reports that a man in a fake 'suicide vest' has been killed outside a police station by police after he tried to attack them with a butcher's knife.

According to police union sources, the man attempted to enter the building with the knife before he was shot by officers.
He had wires extending from his clothing. A bomb disposal unit was able to determine that the suicide vest was fake.
A mobile phone and a sheet of paper marked with an Islamic State flag was found on the man. There was also a claim of responsibility written in Arabic.
