Liberals melt down over OFRA Cosmetics liking Trump tweets

Martina MarkotaRebel Contributor

Popular vegan cosmetics brand OFRA found themselves in trouble recently, when their social media accounts were seen to have "liked" some of Donald Trump’s tweets. That’s a cardinal sin, of course, and so the left has taken to social media to attack OFRA.

Instagram users explained how they’ll never purchase OFRA cosmetics for as long as they live, and asked why a makeup brand was getting involved in politics.

Turns out, it was an honest mistake, and the left is refusing to let go of if it.

That's the left for you.

Just to put the scale of this “metldown” in perspective, the most liked tweet quoted in the linked article (direct embed, so real time) has 125 likes. So, we’re not even talking a huge groundswell of “melting down” or something that’s viral. We’re talking a bit over a hundred people.

This is somehow one of the biggest stories on the Rebel today. Yes, it’s true a few people (unclear if actually liberal) are upset, but, frankly, this isn’t news.

Nah, there’s no difference. Boycott=meltdowns, apparently, and meltdowns are meltdowns. I find the whole thing silly no matter what your political orientation – I think most people do, which is why publicity stunts such as this one work (I doubt they actually support Trump)

Virtue-signaling over an offense that may or may not actually exist is silly in any circumstance.

If the Gillette boycott isn’t directly comparable, how about the Earl’s one that the Rebel spearheaded. Apparently, Conservatives “melt down” – their term, not mine – over which meat supplier a restaurant chain uses. Or is that also an unreasonable generalization steeped in hyperbole, designed entirely to inflame? hmm.

All knowing Andrew, you just cant help yourself can you. You see, there is a big difference between being political and labeling a complete demographic as being toxic, misogynist, man-splaining bullies etc. For someone claiming to be so educated, you’re just not that smart are you. Pathetic.
