Marty Gold: Liberals in Manitoba want to grow by going green

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On the latest episode of The Gunn Show, Marty Gold of TheJ.ca joined me to talk about how Manitoba's political hopefuls think they can win votes in the upcoming provincial election.

Manitoba's Progressive Conservative Premier Brian Pallister called for an election to be held on September 10th, which is a bit earlier than the other parties had expected.

And with the Liberals guessing that they'll never swing any conservative votes their way, they're aiming their platform to attract the Green vote instead.

The NDP mismanaged so badly and put the province into debt so deeply that it doesn’t matter who they have as leader they won’t do well. People have short memories but not that short. Next time around they will stand a chance again given that Lefties never learn from their mistakes, they never learn from other people’s mistakes and they refuse to exercise discernment.

Ron, Space Moose is a female..

The NDP is probably kicking themselves for picking Wab Kinew as leader. Anybody else and they wouldn’t be fending off the Liberals and Greens going into an election where they should be competitive. As recently as 2011 the PCs lost to the NDP while getting 43% of the vote, essentially where they’re polling now.
