Liberal journalists force a political billboard to be taken down. Is that the state of Canadian democracy?

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

By now you've probably seen that billboard in the news. It looks like it's officially from Maxime Bernier, the leader of the People’s Party, but it was actually produced by a registered third party campaign group in the upcoming election.

These billboards simply read, “Say no to mass immigration.” They don’t say "no to any immigration" or even "no to refugees.”

By "mass immigration," they mean open borders-style immigration, like at the Roxham Road crossing. At least 50,000 fraudulent "refugees" have already walked across that illegal border crossing from New York state into Quebec.

Ahmed Hussen, Trudeau's Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (and himself a Muslim refugee from Somalia) plans to bring more than a million more immigrants to Canada in the next three years, 40 per of them being uneconomic — they’re either old and sick or illiterate or refugees. So, he's literally bringing in long line-ups for our hospitals, food banks and schools.

As Angus Reid’s poll shows, most Canadians think we have too many immigrants.

When this billboard went up, it wasn't a shock to normal Canadians, only to the official keepers of ideas, both Liberals and some timid Conservatives.

So they went on a campaign all weekend, huffing and puffing about how outrageous this billboard was.

At first, the billboard company, Pattison Outdoor, resisted this fake controversy, but within days, they posted a grovelling apology and ripped up their contract with the third party group.

And then — even more bizarrely — the third party group itself collapsed. Frank Smeenk, the head of True North Strong & Free Advertising Corp., disavowed "any sympathy with or support for the views expressed by donors who paid for and selected the content of their advertising."

This doesn’t make any sense at all — other than the one explanation that I can think of:

The donors were so bullied by the Media Party, they thought: I can’t participate in democracy anymore.

This isn’t just the deplatforming of a billboard; this isn’t just the silencing of the majority of Canadians point of view.

It’s the deliberate conditioning of Canadians that they must shut up and withdraw from the political playing field if they don’t buy into the narrative.

You can disagree with the billboard, and Bernier. But to silence him — and to shut down the billboard company and to scare the donors?

Yeah, that’s not Canadian. At least that’s not what Canadian used to mean...

The fact that some noisy and morally vain people have determined that “say no to mass immigration” is a controversial and offensive message is bizarre to most Canadians. The only way for smooth transition both for the immigrants and the country, is to not flood the country all at once. The yearly numbers are too big.

If the bloody government would ask us we would tell them. Too many too fast. If they want an honest answer(which I doubt) they should have a referendum. The policies of the Trudeau government have completely ruined the calm orderly and pretty much accepted multiculturalism we have been comfortably living with for decades. We didn’t expect it to bring us where we are today. In the hands of the irresponsible Trudeau leadership multiculturalism is being turned into a nightmare. If we are going to regain any balance and acceptance we had better tap the damn brakes.

Off topic: Angela Merkel may just be finished this weekend. Voting will be on Sunday. Let’s hope.
Ilhan Omar has yet another man in her life. Now she’s having an affair with a consultant she hired. Of course, she’s denying everything. Hard to keep up with all her men, husbands and brothers. Oh, and he’s white.

I’d like to show you how other people think about ruthless dictators but I’m not gonna call them that

In a proudly multicultural country like Canada – that kind of poster and wording is disgusting, but of course The Rebel will defend them.

You’re a perfect example of why the country is already lost. At least by getting Alberta out of this UN run crap hole, we’ll be able to save a piece of it. We in Alberta will not end up the Jews did, with no country, after thousands of years of invasion."

Albertans have a homeland. It’s called Newfoundland.

“I grew up in Mississauga and moved here when I was 23 because the pay was better” isn’t an ethnic group, sorry.

I just do not see the controversy over the message that mass immigration is bad for our countr”

because it is not unequivocally “bad”, just as it’s not unequivocally “bad”. From an economic perspective, it’s nearly totally a benefit (e.g., PEI’s provincial nominee program is a large part of the reason why it has been doing so well economically). Culturally, they segregate for the first generation, but integrate in second and later. So, what? That’s always been the case. “Ghetto” is an ancient concept, and virtually all the historically prominent cities in history were melting pots of cultures, strengthened rather than weakened by it.

Anyone today who is incapable of understanding the problems MASS immigration brings to Canada will completely get it by next year if we don’t tap the breaks on this now. There is no integration when too many people are brought in too fast. Its as simple as that.”

How fast is that? Canada has never been less than 15% immigrants, and our current 22% matches the rate in the 30s.

Our immigrant growth rate is rising not because we take in a lot of immigrants – 350k is under 1%, essentially our long term average, but because our own birthrate is dropping as fewer reproductive age women have fewer children each.

I just do not see the controversy over the message that mass immigration is bad for our country. The fact that some are pretending to be mortally ‘outraged’ to the point of shutting down debate on this important issue, really highlights the deterioration of our national narrative. No one respects a country that has no respect for itself, and that is what we are fighting here. What a sick, weak people we have become. There is only one way to address the problem. A strong leader, who isn’t being led by the nose by extremists and corrupt globalists. Someone who respects free speech and will make sure we all have it in its purist and only acceptable form (no buts). This is no time for cowardice. Shame on those who bend to the pearl grasping bullies. Ordered, calculated immigration for the benefit and health of our dominion is one thing, mass immigration is quite another.

Its not a difficult concept. We must say no to MASS immigration.

“Yeah supporting free speech is kind of included within the meaning of multi-cultural. Whatever happened to “dialogue”, so recently the Left’s answer to every problem?”

Pattison certainly appreciates free speech, given that they exercise it when they choose to publicly endorse or not, a given message by literally posting for all to see.

Or does that only apply to wedding cakes?

The leftard – professional outrage – globalist zombie mob is terrified of anything resembling freedom of thought or freedom of speech.
Anything even remotely truthful is labelled “hate speech”

Canazuela, that’s what we’re becoming. Justin the Turd calls the shots and the media goons do the rest. Let’s hope that the Bernier supporters have T shirts made with that billboard message on it.

And yes, Ezra, wear a tie.

What do you want? Liberal dictatorship or Conservative Democracy? The choice is not far off. I hope everyone in this country take a good long look at all the bad things JT has done and all the nothing he has accomplished.

JOHN WICK

People in Toronto were outraged at the posters and the poster company said that they received numerous phone calls in disgust and they actually agreed that it should be taken down.

So they took umbrage at imaginary sins. Proving that they are incapable of reading comprehension and that instead they read in things that aren’t there.

Good on ya’ Drive-By-Johnny.

Now absolutists speech is the answer.

Why do you Leftists love to believe and promulgate lies?
