“It's time to speak about what we believe in:” Maxime Bernier's newest candidates make their case

David MenziesMission Specialist

Maxime Bernier dropped by London, Ontario recently to introduce more than 30 new People’s Party of Canada candidates, bringing the total number to 300, with the remaining 38 to be announced in the days ahead.

The star candidate at the Friday press conference was surely Dr. Salim Mansur, who was inexplicably shunned by the Conservative party last month.

I also briefly interviewed three of the newly-announced PPC candidates, all of whom had interesting tales to tell...

All and all, this PPC press conference was a jubilant affair, one that was not marred by the presence of Antifa thugs.

Although I should note that at precisely 1:32 pm, Bernier was interrupted by a cacophony of cell phone alarms, announcing that a tornado might be touching down in the London area.

It didn’t happen though - I guess that tornado didn’t want to mess with Hurricane Max.

I can’t wait until this rally on immigration tomorrow. Canada’s immigration policies need a complete overhaul, an intervention. October cannot come soon enough.

CPC’s loss is PPC’s gain. Once again Andrew Scheer is showing weakness in leadership.

Maxime Bernier

@MaximeBernier
We are told higher immigration levels are necessary to fill labour shortages.

But only 26% of all immigrants are selected for their skills and directly answer our economic needs.

We need an immigration policy that puts CANADA FIRST.https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/commentary/article-canada-must-put-the-emphasis-on-economic-immigration/?utm_medium=Referrer:+Social+Network+/Media&utm_campaign=SharedWeb+Article+Links

I have heard Max say in many interviews that people don’t know the name of the party so I am always going to say and type, Peoples Party of Canada and not just PPC from here on in. Its time people took notice of this party because it is here to stay.

I’d like to see them in a majority. Good times

The PPC candidate in Nanaimo will get my vote because she’s pro-life, and that’s a rarity in the Canadian political landscape these days.

Comment below in response to Ron Voss’s comment.

It is noteworthy Ron, but not at all surprising. Salim Mansur doesn’t fit the narrative that the PPC is a party of White supremacists. Plus he is speaking out against the political Islamists that the main parties are falling over themselves to appease. The msm is just doing what they always do, following the lead of their master.

The PPC has my vote…. though I’m sure my riding will still go to the NDP…. frustrating!

Maurice, you think that is frustrating, in my area they haven’t heard of the PPC, this is why the PPC in the debates will be helpful.

PPC candidates have as much right as either of the other parties to canvas in a park. What am I not understanding here? The candidate canvasing in Bronte Park never should have allowed the city official to bully him. The police should have been called and a to do made of the situation. I don’t get it.

Noteworthy that the media has been mute about this development with Salim Mansur joining the PPC.

How sad that the Conservative Party of Canada – Parti conservateur du Canada was hijacked by Mr. Rogers. Maxime should have been the leader, not Mr. Milktoast.

At about the 00:20 mark, Maxime said Canadians are fed up with political correctness. I could not agree more, in fact I would go so far as to say…..political correctness is the true hate speech.

“Dose anybody remember ‘Freedom of Speech’?”

Free speech? What’s that?

The more I see of Bernier and the people who are attracted to his Politics, the more happy I am that I became a member of the PPC.
His worst enemies are the MSM and the Thugs that try to silence him.
Perhaps the Rebel could recruit some Body Guard, volunteers.
Dose anybody remember ‘Freedom of Speech’?
