Maxime Bernier: Free speech is for confrontations, not just agreements

David MenziesMission Specialist

Exclusive! Rebel Media interviews PPC Leader Maxime Bernier about the potential resurrection of the anti-free speech provision, Section 13, to the Canadian Human Rights Act.

Bernier expresses shock that those same Conservative Party that killed Section 13 six years ago don’t seem to care about the return of this pro-censorship provision today.

As parties are racing to name candidates in all 338 federal ridings, our Party is doing very well in this endeavor. Here is how the numbers look:

Conservative 290
People’s Party 261
Liberal 197
Green 136
NDP 97

We abort ourselves INTO extinction…
commented 2019-06-07 17:08:49 -0400
Sam Hill, it is all part of the culture of death. They want to commit suicide and insist others do it too. I have no problem if they want to jump off a bridge but I do have a problem when they insist in holding my hand while they do so.

We abort ourselves not extinction and then import the death cult to finish the job. Why all the self-loathing?

“If you are accused of hate speech under the Criminal Code, you are presumed innocent. Not so under S. 13, the former human rights hate-speech provision. The onus was on you to prove your words hurt no one’s feelings nor upset any group’s theological or cultural sensitivities.”
Which is impossible. Expect to be found guilty no matter what. No point in even attending your ‘execution’.

Max will do well in the following election!!

Checked out the link, disgusting but not a shocker Sam, it is all part of Agenda 2030. The question that remains unanswered though is how low will Trudeau go in effort to win a seat at the UN.

Maxime for PM of Canada! I hope that toad that we currently have is forced into exile.

People are not happy with the current government. The only base they now have is not big enough for them to get back into power. Time is on Maxes side. For Trudeau it is running out. Sheer has wasted time by not speaking out.

You have my vote Sir. And I’ll convince my family as well.

There is only one conservative running and it is NOT Andrew Scheer. There is only one conservative party, and its NO LONGER the CPC.
commented 2019-06-06 11:17:28 -0400
Or as Lorrie Goldstein succinctly puts it…..

Lorrie Goldstein
(1) It’s naive to think Cooper ‘had no problem with it.’
(2) The Conservatives need a leader who doesn’t make decisions on the basis of whether the Liberals and NDP will ‘crucify’ him, but on the basis of what’s right.
commented 2019-06-06 11:12:01 -0400
If we don’t back the only man who understands this threat and will fight back in the face of it, we will lose and lose big. Andrew Scheer cannot and will not save this country. He isn’t remotely interested in saving anything but his own backside and career.

When was the last time we had a politician who stands for our values and understands what we are up against? Never that’s when (maybe Dief the Chief). This is an opportunity for Canada to switch tracks before this train hits the wall. We may not get another one if we don’t find a way to get Bernier into the game. It is the only chance I can see. If there is another one I would like to hear it.

They want to control speech. They only want approved speech.Thats no longer a free society when we cant say what we believe and have to conform what we say with what is approved.Nobody has the right to disagree.

Sayings of Oliver Cromwell:

Not only strike while the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking.

Subtlety may deceive you. Integrity never will.

A few honest men are better than numbers.

I had rather have a plain, russet coated Captain that knows what he fights for, and loves what he knows, than that which you call a gentleman and is nothing else.

Put your trust in God; but be sure to keep your powder dry.

I could not riding out alone about my business, but smile out to God in praises, in assurance of victory because God would, by things that are not, bring to naught things that are.

Oliver Cromwell: Name one reason why a man should hold power over a nation.
Doubter: Because he is born to it.
Oliver Cromwell: I said a reason. Not an excuse.

I have learned that if you fear God, you have no one else to fear.

How refreshing to hear Max speek truth in the face of our current age of cowardly PC cesspoolian political Trudeau-ian shit and treasonous scum
Go Max !!!
Pull a Trump and DARE to speek Truth.
Don’t hold back ! Why would you ?
Many people hunger for a politician to speek truth in this Orwellian age
commented 2019-06-05 22:00:25 -0400
This is why Bernier has my vote.
commented 2019-06-05 21:42:49 -0400
Robert Greeley, you nailed it. The media will not cover Maxime if he goes all Scheer schmoozy soft. He can safely be ignored in that circumstance. But if he will speak as a true conservative and not soft pedal his platform and not ride on Justin’s coat tails with cleverly reworded “diversity is our strength” nonsense they will cover him out of outrage. Yes they will misrepresent him but a lot of people will see through he smoke, mirrors and BS.

At least the discussion will have begun. Hit with the truth, hit hard and hit often, Maxime.

I agree Jan, getting Bernier in the race, and his foot in the door will at the very least be a positive step forward.
A vote for Scheer is a vote for exactly what we have now on a slightly slower boat (maybe slower, maybe not). He is such a turncoat that he doesn’t deserve anyone’s vote in my opinion. Zero respect for Scheer. I guess he finally picked a lane though and its not the ‘right’ one.

I hope you are right Robert. Max needs to put a fire under it.
commented 2019-06-05 21:03:06 -0400
Just a thought here.. What if Max Bernier came out and said something that the tyranny lover medias could not resist to print?

I believe Max… is starting up the engines.
commented 2019-06-05 20:33:56 -0400
You may just be 100% accurate, except for one very important point:
DEFINITELY VOTE PPC because the total PPC votes will give Bernier strength and Canada a message that they are serious and Conservatives are serious.
Don’t forget, whatever party wins, they’ll only be there for 4 years.
Maxime Bernier’s party CAN ONLY GET STRONGER and be a major contender 4 years from now.
Every, every, every vote counts.
commented 2019-06-05 20:32:39 -0400
I wonder how many more will walk over to the PPC by October. There is still time for it to be significant, considering how Justin and Scheer are fairing these days.
commented 2019-06-05 20:21:28 -0400
Scheer is splitting the vote not Bernier. Scheer is splitting the liberal vote. The only party on the right is Bernier.
commented 2019-06-05 20:04:58 -0400
Only Max is defending Conservative MP Michael Cooper for what he said in the Justice Committee. The “Conservatives” have thrown him under the bus.
Scheer and his leftist “Conservatives” cannot be trusted!
Vote PPC!!!
commented 2019-06-05 19:45:32 -0400
Harley: I’m confident Trudeau will make the CBC invite Bernier to the debates bcuz his presence will help to split the vote on the right. Bernier, ironically, could be Justin’s saviour by taking much of Scheer’s votes and allowing the Libranos another majority.
Trudeau will not attack Bernier (much), but will sit back and watch the CPC and PPC leaders snipe at each other. The MSM will, when Trudeau tells them to, start giving PPC media time to further assure another 4 years of Trudeau’s tyranny. PC/Reform deja vu.
At this point, knowing Scheer has just abandoned free speech and the free press, I’ve decided not to vote for CPC and just pray the next 4 years of Trudeau doesn’t destroy my Canada irreparably.
commented 2019-06-05 18:32:10 -0400
Who knew we would have to be fighting for our natural, inalienable human right to free speech in 2019. Does this mean that we no longer live in a free nation? Is The True North Strong and Free dead? Is that the big question come October?
commented 2019-06-05 17:19:16 -0400
I expect Max will be given very little media coverage. Probably they wont let him in the debate,s either. He has my vote. Nothing turdeau and sheer can do to change my mind.
commented 2019-06-05 17:11:55 -0400
Good luck with that request Billy. There are only a few in that party who are not fully invested in the CPC’s direction. At this point, even with a new leader, I would not give them my vote.
commented 2019-06-05 17:11:46 -0400
How novel a politician who will work for Canadians.
