Maxime Bernier: The Rebel Live Calgary (Full speech)

Maxime BernierGuest Post

At The Rebel Live Calgary on November 10, 2018, People's Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier spoke about his departure from the Conservative Party, what his new party stands for, and his plans for the next federal election.

Bernier believes his party is the only right-wing party in Canada and that political correctness is destroying the country. He claims that his tweets criticizing "radical multiculturalism" were condemned by the Conservative Party and he was told that "his ideas were not welcome".

Because Andrew Scheer regularly uses his social media to celebrate the independence days of foreign nations, Bernier thinks he's more interested in being the UN Secretary General than Prime Minister of Canada.

WATCH Bernier's FULL SPEECH to hear his plan to abolish foreign aid, integrate legal immigrants, pull Canada out of the UN Paris Climate Accord, and cut the CBC.

Note: conference organizers also sent an invitation to speak to Andrew Scheer, but he did not accept it.

Hope you are proud of yourself Maurice, the leftard troll usually is after one of his attacks.

“It has nothing to do with pleasing me, you dumb shit. I was merely commenting on the fact that he appeared uncomfortable reading from a script in English. My comment was empathetic, not critical. And I believe that should have been obvious to anyone with half a brain.”

You want to act like the resident leftard troll Maurice then expect to be treated as such. I hope you get banned for attacking others viciously. I have flagged you for your ignorant unwarranted attack.

“Immigration should not change the cultural character or social fabric of our country”. I hear that as meaning “people of a different ideology” as in Muslim, and correctly so. Our culture is based on European Christian values, and this Muslim “religion of peace” is the most violent, destructive and inhumane religion known. The chaos that these people are causing in Europe is beyond comprehension, and once they get a foothold in a country, its impossible to be rid of them. They do not integrate, they invade. This what Justin Trudeau is inflicting on Canadians. If anyone doubts what I an saying, I recommend that they read a book that is currently on the market. Its called “The strange death of Europe” by Douglas Murray. Available at Amazon.

Ron Voss posted, “Bernier felt that he had no choice but to form his own party.”

…because as you have previously said Ron, Bernier understands the real threat to our nation.

I encourage people to check Bernier’s twitter feed daily. As his popularity grows the msm will cover him as little as possible. Everything he posts in french he repeats in English. There is a lot to learn on his twitter page.

JOSIE BRENNING commented, “I went to one of the talks that Andrew a Scheer presented before he was chosen as the Conservative leader and I was very disappointed.” Smil’n Andy’s pitch during the leadership campaign was that he was the one most capable of uniting the party. He should have brought contenders like Bernier and Trost into the fold after GE won the leadership. How is that working out?

Trost was ignored as far as a shadow cabinet position. The party then succeeded in getting rid of Trost (100% Conservative) through the nomination process, presumably because he was too conservative for the party. They tried to get rid on Cheryl Gallant, who boldly stood against being whipped to support the Paris Climate Accord, but failed. And p, as we know, Bernier felt that he had no choice but to form his own party.

- secure borders/better relations with Trump. Bernier declared, “Our immigration policy should not aim to forcibly change the cultural character and social fabric of our country.”

Sorry that mashed all together with out the period.

Keith, take note of Bernier’s immigration policies. His expectations are quite clear and would eliminate most problems we are seeing today.
-Reduced numbers
-Prerequisite assimilation into and respect for Canadian values
-Less reunification and more economically desirable candidates.
- better identification of and adherence to true refugee status
- secure borders/better relations with Trump Bernier declared, “Our immigration policy should not aim to forcibly change the cultural character and social fabric of our country.”

Bernier is more fluent when he isn’t reading English. He had prepared his speech and was reading his notes . At the end when he was answering questions or when you hear him just talking he is quite fluent. His accent is strong but he is much more at ease when he is not reading. If people are going to get stuck on the accent they will be stuck with a country run by globalists who do not live in this country. I have no intention of living in a globalist Canada.

I agree with Andy N. I could not care less about a split vote. The stakes are much higher than just getting Justin out this time. Scheer will enable the exact same destruction. I cannot trust anything Scheer says. We need to have an adult who has not been paid off in Parliament, who can at the very least have the balance of power. Never mind another year of Justin without effective opposition, we won’t survive another year of globalists running the country. In that case, you will see the will to separate, make no mistake. Canada will be dead and the western provinces will be in survival mode. Embrace the accent folks.

Maurice how do you come up with Bernier is “uncomfortable in English”? Bernier was articulate and his command of English is more than sufficient. Need you be reminded how poor of an orator Trudeau is with all his stuttering and uh uh uhs? How bad Chretien’s grasp of English was? Bernier’s command of the English language exceeds both that of Trudeau’s and Chretien’s yet you and some others still seem to be unhappy, clearly there is no pleasing some people.

“I don’t think there is the political will to separate, though I wish there were.”

You’re right PETER. Working Alberta has been pissed on and humiliated by Notley & Co. and turdo la doo, yet it hasn’t managed to put together a decent demonstration or Highway blockade in protest. So you can rest assured that “Western Separation” will remain as nothing but idle talk and pipe dreams for another 30 or 40 years.

Jose Brenning, I love that quote. Thanks for posting it here. Too bad Maxime isn’t more comfortable in English.

That’s the real point Don Armitage… I really don’t care a “rodent’s rectum” if the PPC “splits” conservative voters in 2019… The point is is to at last get the Smiling Chipmunk’s real attention and give the PPC platform the decisive vote to form a conservative coalition… The arrogance of Scheer in the past year – or rather cowardice to face fundamental conservative issues – has been no less than the waste of the millions of people who did vote conservative…

When Andrew Scheer told Maxime Bernier to “Shut up and follow the party line”, Maxime should have reminded Scheer of a few words spoken by John G. Diefenbaker:

“I am a Canadian,
Free to speak without fear,
Free to worship in my own way,
Free to stand for what I think is right,
Free to oppose what I believe wrong,
And free to choose those who shall govern my country.
This heritage of freedom
I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind.”

I went to one of the talks that Andrew a Scheer presented before he was chosen as the Conservative leader and I was very disappointed. I knew he just did not have what it takes to represent Conservatives in Canada. Maxime Bernier and the People’s Party of Canada have a chance now to save Canada and the freedom it stands for from Trudeau and the Liberals.

Peter, we just need Manitoba to join Alberta and Saskatchewan, and use Churchill…

Kameron Cuk, The first comment here said " Bernier sounded nervous."
I have heard Bernier speak many times, and I have to agree that he sounded nervous.
I believe that is a good sign as most big sports stars say they are nervous before a big game.
Another item that I’m happy with is Max doesn’t change his priority policies depending on the crowd that he is speaking to.

How long has it been?.. we have had liberals this term..conservatives that term…blah..blah..blah..same shit..different pile..still stinks to high Heaven..just some air freshener spray to disguise the stench..

Canada NEEDS a REAL CHANGE!..not the bullshit trudeau and his crew promised..and now Scheer is a wishy washy whatever..

We need a clear and divisive Candidate/Party that will keep Canada from becoming a shithole…

Don said, “The other is that Justin wins again and the West sees no viable alternative but to separate.”

I don’t think there is the political will to separate, though I wish there were. Problem is that even if there was the political will, BC would have to go too otherwise there would be no way for Albert & Saskatchewan to get their oil, gas and coal to tide water. Now if Alberta & Saskatchewan were annexed by the US …

Mr. Bernier..

Gets an A on this speech..I don’t give a hoot about his accent..I understood every word & sentence..

My only advise is..don’t hit the nitro switch into the fuel system to soon…timing is everything.

It was definitely a breath of fresh air hearing Mr. Bernier.

Peter I understand your fear of vote splitting and allowing Justin to win another term in government. There is certainly a chance that that could happen. However there is really no point in replacing the current group of politically correct morons with a group that is only slightly less so. I have been down this path before as one of the original members of the Reform Party. We didn’t win government but at least we were able to feel good about ourselves for standing up for a Party with clear conservative principles. There are two possible good outcomes from supporting Maxime’s Peoples Party. One is that the CPC wins a minority and the PPC wins the balance of power. The other is that Justin wins again and the West sees no viable alternative but to separate.

I don’t ever remember an election in Canada that was so critical…to our very existence even, as a sovereign nation!

I thought that Bernier sounding off in common sense-speak would light a fire under the Scheer Conservatives…I guess not.
So now what?
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t!

Well maybe Jihadi-Justin-Groper and his Liberal party comrades will take care of that by ‘organizing’ some kind of major catastrophe so he can declare martial law like daddy and then…no more elections…and off we go marching into the New World Order!

“It takes a lot of gumption to stand in front of what could have been the least supportive crowd in Canada for a Quebec, French speaking, politician and get his points across despite the language difficulties. I was impressed. The MSM is also starting to take note of him with negative comments which adds credibility for Mr. Bernier. It will be an interesting election season.”

Bernier certainly has better command of the English language than our sock puppet PM with all his uh uh uhs and of course flood of faux tears.
