Maxime Bernier: The Rebel Live Calgary (Full speech)

Maxime BernierGuest Post

At The Rebel Live Calgary on November 10, 2018, People's Party of Canada leader Maxime Bernier spoke about his departure from the Conservative Party, what his new party stands for, and his plans for the next federal election.

Bernier believes his party is the only right-wing party in Canada and that political correctness is destroying the country. He claims that his tweets criticizing "radical multiculturalism" were condemned by the Conservative Party and he was told that "his ideas were not welcome".

Because Andrew Scheer regularly uses his social media to celebrate the independence days of foreign nations, Bernier thinks he's more interested in being the UN Secretary General than Prime Minister of Canada.

WATCH Bernier's FULL SPEECH to hear his plan to abolish foreign aid, integrate legal immigrants, pull Canada out of the UN Paris Climate Accord, and cut the CBC.

Note: conference organizers also sent an invitation to speak to Andrew Scheer, but he did not accept it.

It takes a lot of gumption to stand in front of what could have been the least supportive crowd in Canada for a Quebec, French speaking, politician and get his points across despite the language difficulties. I was impressed. The MSM is also starting to take note of him with negative comments which adds credibility for Mr. Bernier. It will be an interesting election season.

thank you maxime. your policies are so right. changing the senate that copies the USA would make us a truly democratic nation. elected, effective all provinces and the north get an equal voice in canada, and equal number of seats. put that as a new policy, and you would not believe how many canadians would vote for that. now this country is a waste of time and money. all goes to que. and ont. the rest just give and give and give. and get nothing but lip service.

The left thinks that’s Bernier taking us down a ‘dark place’. What it is , is Bernier giving us some hope that we can have immigration AND still retain the values we have always embraced, but taken for granted here in Canada. Its a bright place where everyone is treated with the same respect, no pandering to special interests. Again, the left are using their inverted logic to try to twist it into something ugly.

With respect to mass immigration, Bernier declared, to applause, “Our immigration policy should not aim to forcibly change the cultural character and social fabric of our country.” In my view mass immigration, particularly mass Muslim immigration, is the greatest existential threat to Canada. In my view, all other issues pale in comparison, and I believe that Bernier is the only political leader in Canada who gets it.

Who is tired of the demonetisation? These kooks in the left msm who are trying to shame people into being stupid sheep think it is an outrageous expectation to require immigrants to embrace ‘Western civilization values’. Doesn’t that just say it all. Logic is illogical to them. National pride and love of country, and patriotism is nazism to these post truth lunatics. Even Bernier says climate change is real, his problem is that the man made part of it is very, very small, and questions shutting down our economic growth because of it. He recognizes that it is a scam to push a social agenda and so do most Canadians. Its the left that are out of step.

I am so tired of these people lying and slandering and making it up as they go along. They are trying to unperson anyone who doesn’t comply with their misguided ideology. That’s the majority of the population.

The good news is Bernier will never give in to the bullying. Unfortunately he is the only politician who won’t. There is no shortage of cowardly politicians in Canada at the moment.

Of course, the Toronto Red Star plays the Trump card, “Echoes of Trump resound at Bernier’s Calgary rally”
https://www.thestar.com/opinion/star-columnists/2018/11/12/echoes-of-trump-resound-at-berniers-calgary-rally.html

Appealing to the brainwashed masses who have been indoctrinated by anti-Trump rhetoric from the CBC and the their cohorts in the media party.

According to the Red Star, “The Rebel, Canada’s far-right online news and views disseminator that is so extremist even Conservative politicians shun it”. However, while CINOs shun it, real conservatives, like Maxime Bernier and Brad Trost, don’t shun it.

According to John Ibbitson with the Globe & Mail, “Maxime Bernier goes to a dark place”:
https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-maxime-bernier-goes-to-a-dark-place/

Why? “In a speech on Saturday at a conference hosted by the right-wing Rebel Media in Calgary, the leader of the new People’s Party of Canada questioned the science of climate change, pilloried the United Nations and insisted immigrants to Canada must embrace ‘Western civilization values’.”

A dark place?? What nonsense when as a ‘progressive’ journalist you happen to live in a dark fog.

According to Ibbitson “Climate-change deniers will feel very much at home in the People’s Party”. Indeed! Proud to be a Denier. NOT a Liar.

I don’t mean to start dissension, just raising a legitimate possibility.

… or will it be just enough to split the conservative votes in each riding between the two parties making them both ineffective.

Greig, I also believe that given the chance Bernier will turn the country around, but the key words are “given a chance” (i.e. will there be enough conservative voters to win him the seats he needs.)

I was so fed up with the Lib-Lite, I jumped on the Mad Max wagon as soon as I heard him explain why he chose to leave the CPC. After listening to this speech from the “Albertan from Quebec”, I know Maxime will be a great and principled leader for the Country. He reminds me of Ralph Klein – says what he means and means what he says. I believe given a chance Maxime will turn this sheet-hole country around.

Well, I hope that Bernier gets his 338 candidates in place for Dec. 10 2018 as is required by Elections Canada.

If he does, I will vote for the PPC candidate in my riding, otherwise I will vote for the CPC candidate.

I can only hope that enough people vote for the PPC so that they take seats in the federal legislature, otherwise what WILL happen is that the conservative votes for each riding will be split and the Liberal or NDP candidate will come up the middle to take that riding. Unfortunately I think that which will happen and Trudeau will get in again.

I don’t have any problem with the way Mr. Bernier speaks English. Straight common-sense talk delivered with an accent is not at all difficult to comprehend compared to trying to decipher the vacuous virtue-signalling gobbledegook that constantly spews forth from the smirking hole on the front side of Little Potato’s foolish head.

Bernier gave a good speech, pushing all the correct buttons with his intended goals. He says that he will leave the UN Paris climate accord and that is good but I think he would do better if he stated that he intended to pull out of the UN completely. We do not need this Marxist organization filling Canada with incompatible heathen’s and their religion of death. They need to be stopped and Mr Bernier would be wise to follow a path that states that clearly.

‘Stop the Migrants,’ as a promise would garner votes from all political stripes, even Liberals….Just my opinion.

I think Bernier was a little nervous, causing him to stumble a bit in english but, he did well. His points about the CPC are spot on, you will be getting a “liberal lite” party if Scheer wins, our country will be no different. Im all in for Bernier in 2019, there are no other options as far as Im concerned.
