McKenna talks “carbon pollution” while 150M litres of raw sewage dumped in Quebec river

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

The City of Longueuil has been given the go-ahead by the Quebec environment ministry to dump nearly 150M litres of raw human sewage into the St. Lawrence River.

The city will take eight days, beginning the 15th of November, to complete what it says is a necessary discharge in order to repair a water line that runs under the river.

According to CBC:

“Longueuil plans to use floats to contain as much solid waste as possible. It says it wants to carry out the work before the river freezes...The city insists there will be less impact on the fish because spawning season is over.”

Oh, well, everything is fine then, right? As long as they strain the condoms, baby wipes and other “solids” out of the discharge.

What? No.These sewage dumps and untreated discharges in Canadian waterways have resulted in massive fish kills, norovirus outbreaks and even a cholera cluster in British Columbia last spring.

And, as we’ve previously reported, it’s just the latest in a long line of sewage dumps across the country that Catherine McKenna has either approved personally or ignored completely for the sake of political expediency.

Watch as I run down just a few of those cases and show how they affected the ecosystem she claims to care about.

Not only are these medieval levels of sanitation in modern Canada disgusting, they’re also killing wildlife and causing public health crises.

But if you only paid attention to Canada's Environment Minister, you wouldn't know that because she’s too busy fighting the war on carbon pollution and plastic straws!

That’s right Stephen E. … To say nothing of the decimation of bats as the “windmills of death” churn every night… As if enough death hadn’t been caused by the last ten years of the White Nose Syndrome Fungus spreading across North America…. It’s been in the millions, and the common little brown bat is nearly extinct…

Barbie appears to be almost as idiotic as Justin. He says the budget will balance itself, and she appears to think you have to waste carbon tax to make carbon tax. Morons have their place in the world, and it should not be leading a major country.

OK! Don’t cloud the Virtue Sigma equation with facts! Clouding the rivers with crap, that’s fine.

And lets not forget that those “environmentally green” windmills, generating what, next to nothing in electricity at 8 times the cost of any other source, kill over 50,000,000 birds every year. Actually, more dead raptors since there are now more of those monsters decorating the countryside.

Why doesn’t Climate Barbie go after something nearer and dearer to her heart (if she has one, as brains they are a-missing): lipstick tubes! Also all those plastic containers for makeup, compacts, and makeup brushes. Then there are all her Lady Clairol bottles. After all, she must keep up appearances! Surely they must do as much damage as plastic straws! Probably more since they still contain chemicals.

(Maybe its these chemicals that killed off her brain cells. Quick, an expensive Royal Commission to investigate! Regardless, too late for her.)

I would hate to be down river of Montreal. Unsafe water. And as you go further to the east, there is (literally) more crap in the water as all the cities simply add more to the stinking mess. Longueuil (pronounced long-gay) is just another one of the separatist cities that refuse to care about federal environmental laws but worry about CO2 pollution. Give me a break!

I have been saying that right from the start. There is a difference between what they call Climate Change and Pollution. They’re being disingenuous by using those 2 terms as being the same thing. They are not!

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Fighting one enviro-lie (“CO2 is pollution”) with another enviro-lie (“dumping sewage into the ocean harms humans”) is to traffic in half-truths; and to sacrifice both credibility and focus. 1) The E.coli in False Creek came not from ocean sewage dumping but from yacht sewage dumped into the stagnant waters of the inlet’s easternmost redoubt. 2) The norovirus/oyster outbreak resulted from effluent of commercial fishing vessels anchored alongside oyster beds; again, not from municipal ocean dumping. 3) No one has connected the French Creek cholera outbreak to sewage dumping into the Pacific (except for Sheila). Her graphic word-portraits of streams of raw sewage thus form a poignant conceit for the video itself.

Canada has become one of those crap holes that Trump was talking about.

Pipe it back up the hill to Parliament, it will give Trudeau and his Liberals something to chew over.
