Colin Kaeperenick’s protest involving America’s national anthem is the story that keeps on giving. Last week, he wore a t-shirt displaying Fidel Castro and Malcolm X with the words, “Like Minds Think Alike.”
Clearly, Kaepernick hasn’t bothered to educate himself on Castro’s human rights record. If he did, he’d know he could be jailed in Cuba for speaking out the way he has. He’d also know that Castro is responsible for institutionalized racism.
In Cuba, discrimination against Afro-Cubans is common place. What an insult to all of the people that have fled Cuba to escape actual oppression.
Adding to this blatant hypocrisy, the media showed that it’s totally okay for Kaepernick to wear a Castro t-shirt but not okay for a GOP voter to wear a Trump t-shirt.
Last week, retired cop and hero Steven Eckel saved a baby from a hot car using a sledgehammer to break a window. When Headline News had the former officer on to discuss his act of heroism, he was wearing a Trump shirt but on a later broadcast, they blurred the t-shirt out.
The mainstream media can’t be trusted and this is just one of the many examples stacking up against them. They can’t hide their bias and don’t even bother trying.
