“Happiness that you usually only see on brides...”: Media Party’s crush on Trudeau captured in ONE photo

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Yesterday I told you about Prime Minister Selfie meeting President Selfie, and their torrid romance — Click here if you didn't see it. It’s like a summer love affair.

And I don’t just mean for Trudeau and Obama. I mean for the media, too.

A huge Canadian media entourage went down to Washington — I’ve never seen it so big. It’s like I’m reading People magazine.

One photo shows it all. It’s a selfie by Globe and Mail reporter Laura Stone, with Michelle Obama and Sophie Trudeau in the background.

The look on her face. That’s euphoria. That is a depth of happiness that you usually only see on brides on their wedding day. Do you doubt that she e-mailed that to everyone she knows?

I guess someone else can cover the real news: how Obama blocked the Keystone XL pipeline, despite Trudeau’s promise that his carbon tax would make the Americans accept us; how Canada has abandoned the allied coalition against the Islamic State...

Sen Pension: Surely two generations of imbeciles is quite enough.

If it where really Jonestown all over again at least we would know it would have a happy ending. Liberals all drink the punch a Turdo shoots himself in the face.

Glad to see the gag-fest in DC between the lame duck and the rubber chicken has finally ended. The media will continue to try and make a silk purse out of the sow’s ear we have for PM. (my apologies to actual sows), but every time he opens his mouth he illustrates the vacuum that exists between his ears. Unfortunately, the taxpayer is on the hook for these self indulgent dog and shiny pony shows.

Great, critical media watch by Ezra. If one can say anything positive of the slavishly pro-Liberal Laura Stone, at the slavishly pro-Liberal Globe and Mail, it is that - in a time of economic hardship being borne by ordinary Canadians - that such bootlicking “journalism” becomes unintended self-parody, to the point where the average lay reader sees it as the mindless foot-kissing that it is. This is why we need Rebel Media, to help us laugh at such crass, inept journalism as offered by Laura Stone. With the CBC and the Globe and Mail offering Canadians mindless propaganda, the Rebel Media should flourish. — David Murrell in Fredericton, NB.

The look of a Bride on her wedding day?
I don’t think so. That is the look of a prostitute after a really big score.

I wouldn’t walk across the street to look at that loser!

Reading Laura Stone’s Facebook feed is a highly instructive view into a truly sick and demented mind. No doubt Stone’s childish obsession with celebrity reveals an obtuse mind and shallow intellect, a perfect example of a garden variety agent of the Progressivist-Sodomite Agenda. More career propagandistic than journalist, we’ll see how long she can keep promoting the nonsense she’s expected to peddle.

Laura Stone, was wearing brown lipstick or has she been ass kissing the stars of her dreams.

Mara M, you see that Nathan W provided two important pieces of information that had not been disclosed and you call him dangerous?
The Globe reporter snapped a picture with her own cell phone and a reporter from LaPresse captured the moment. How should censorship enter in? It is like one of those pretty winter scene photos in the paper after a snowstorm. Should they be censored?
commented 2016-03-13 19:13:40 -0400
Nathan W Media is supposed to be unbiased! This is the same type of giddiness that was shown in Paris when the media learned that a deal had been signed. They are supposed to report the news not fir themselves into it! You and yours are truly a dangerous bunch who will welcome censorship until it happens to you.

A few fact fails here.

a) Obama’s blocking Keystone was not at all related to Trudeau or any proposed carbon tax. That part is the fact fail. OBVIOUSLY, given that is already happened years ago, long before Trudeau was in office or there was any credible discussion of actual policies to limit emissions.

b) Canada’s ISIS mission has changed tack, not abandoned. That part is a fact fail. We are no longer dropping bombs, but have more boots on the ground. It is a riskier mission, but less likely to create blowback or contribute to further terrorist recruitment propaganda.

Anyways, so what? Someone had a big smile on at a big event. Don’t you think you would be smiling if you were personally invited to Washington?

I like some of the coverage I saw here today, but man, this one was pathetic. Sorry, but not sorry. Definitely low grade. The people who are paying the bills deserve better than this.

I see another example of the female insanity that drives JT’s popularity.

Of course, the PMS will really start once everything goes down the toilet.

In fact Google “Stephen Harper and George W. Bush” and feast your eyes on lots more shots…now these two REALLY GOT ALONG.
Harper and Bush had lunch together in 2006 and then:

SHOWING WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND: The CBC reported Feb.18, 2009 as follows:
“By all accounts, Prime Minister Stephen Harper had a warm personal relationship with former U.S. President George W. Bush. At their first official meeting, they toured the ancient Mayan ruins along with then Mexican President Vicente Fox. (in) Cancun, Mexico, where they attended a summit meeting to promote North American unity. The relaxed tone of the meeting in March 2006 reflected U.S.-Canada relations for the rest of Bush’s term. After that first official meeting — Harper had met Bush once before as Opposition leader — Bush described Harper as someone in many ways like himself, saying they shared “mutual values” and “respect for human life and human dignity.” Whether this warm relationship was political spin, as some political analysts have said, or a genuine shift in Canada-U.S. relations, IT’S CLEAR THE TONE DID IMPROVE FROM ROCKIER TIMES UNDER PRIME MINISTERS JEAN CHRETIEN AND PAUL MARTIN."

Funny the Trudeau maniacs forgot that, eh? ☺

Who said it has been 19 years since a Prime Minister was at the White House! Google “Stephen Harper at the White House” and look at all the pictures…yeah…just no banquet…of course…see “Images for Stephen Harper at the White House”…lots!

Of course Obama’s protectionism has done great damage to Canada’s oil industry…so he probably felt too guilty to invite Harper for “dinner” knowing full well that he was doing despite to our economy…on the other hand he and Justin are in agreement regarding the destruction of Canadian oil.

What Canada needs is its OWN OIL REFINERY and then to stop importing all oil from outside and use our own exclusively…Too bad Justin wants to build windmills instead…How about you Canadian billionaires…want to get really rich?

lol, that’s hilarious a ‘groupie fan girl’ – if I were her I’d be embarassed and wanting to hide about now.

MARTY ASHFIELD, my grandmother was one of those women. When she retired from her civil service career, PET phoned her and she almost went into orbit, talked about that phone call for the rest of her life. I can almost understand why Trudeau 1.0 was a rockstar to women, he was rich, single, articulate, intelligent, and seemed to have a lot of potential. But Justin?
Well, he’s rich…

ROBERT MCCLELLAND , you are so right. I lived through the first episode of Trudeau mania. I was also sickened by the way people threw themselves at the Jerk and how the women swooned over him including older women in their 50’s and 60’s. Maybe even older, I only know of several that were in the 50-60 age bracket that would have an orgasm every time they heard him or saw him.
I see the exact same thing happening now with twit Jr. I/we have friends that are in their late 60’s and the lady can’t get enough of dickhead Justin. I am sure that she would pass out if he was within one mile of her.
But as you say it will not last too long, however we have to suffer while it lasts.
I’m going to throw up now.

Saying Stephen Harper had never been to the Whitehouse is like saying he has not been in the House of Commons since the election (which I have heard people say). He has been in both places! It is just because of the unsupportive media and members of the public that he has to use the back door.
commented 2016-03-12 13:55:29 -0500
Andrew, I hope you know they do a LOT more than just reporting on the media bias, which does exist. I also hope you saw it wasn’t really covered, not like important news at least. I think you are just grasping at straws like you always do.
commented 2016-03-12 13:46:04 -0500
The Rebel would do better to actually report news, instead of inventing conspiracies to oppose. The “Media Party” is a boogeyman and nothing more. Trudeau went to Washington, it was his first diplomatic mission, of course it will be covered.
commented 2016-03-12 13:28:45 -0500
It’s pretty obvious that the media hated Harper because he was reserved and didn’t like the media around snapping photos and taking things out of context with sound bites they’d hear. But they love Trudeau and no matter what he says, he’s the Stephen Hawking of Canadian Politics. Doesn’t matter what makes sense or not, they hang on his every word as it’s gospel. Sometimes I really do think that Liberalism is a twisted kind of hypocritical religion and our present government proves it to a Tee. The Americans on the other hand are sizing us up in how to deal with us in the future because they can read just what people of a certain religion, Liberalism, love to hear.
