Trudeau’s ambassador to China switches sides — and makes China’s case against Trump

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

First, a reminder: Meng Wanzhou is the CFO of Huawei, one of China’s largest tech companies. They make cell phones amongst other things. They’re also accused by many western governments of using their phone equipment to spy on people who use that equipment — which is why Huawei is banned from installing 5G phone systems in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand. Meng also happens to be the founder’s daughter.

And she’s wanted for various crimes in the United States. Meng is out on bail, in one of the world’s most liveable cities — Vancouver, B.C., which also has a large Chinese community.

China has seized 13 Canadian citizens in China as obvious retribution — they say as much publicly. They re-tried a Canadian convicted of selling drugs there, and sentenced him to death, as opposed to the prison term he had. That’s just plain murdering a guy as retaliation.

China's ambassador even accused Canada of being "white supremacist," and saying that’s what this was all about.

Compare that to what Canada's ambassador to China, John McCallum, said today (at a press conference to which no mainstream media were invited — just Chinese media...)

He actually says, twice in thirty seconds, that Meng Wanzhou has a good case! And any judge who want to be elevated, say, to the Supreme Court, or the court of appeal, had better please Trudeau’s man on this one.

He specifically says Trump is wrong about this case, and she’s right. Then he disparages Trump’s sanctions against Iran — or at least disavows them.

That’s some diplomacy, isn’t it?

John McCallum isn’t on our side anymore. He’s on China’s side. I don’t think he ever was on our side, to be candid. Remember when he announced Canada’s negotiating strategy for a Canada-China deal? Yeah, you don’t announce, in advance, in public, that you will give everything away to the Chinese side before talks even begin. Unless that is your side.

Because an ambassador who was loyal to Canada would probably have gone to bat for our hostages still held in Chinese prisons — not for Chinese community party elites living the high life in Vancouver.

NEXT: Journalist Cassandra Fairbanks joins me to reveal that the "Vietnam vet" involved with the "Covington kids" fiasco never fought in that war — but raised money by saying he did.

FINALLY: Your messages to me!

McCallum was fired. I’d love to know the back story but do you think the CBC will cover it (like they would have before the sold out) or just cover it up.

Scheer is afraid of Mad Max Bernier.

That Kentucky Roman Catholic church doing what they always do. If they’re not buggering the boys behind the altar they’ll do it in the media.

- Are the Liberals capable of ever not siding with the dictatorships they admire so much? They are a collection of the most corrupt & most incompetent. The most corrupt & incompetent of them all is Prime Minister Peter Pan. Canada is an international joke as long as these clowns are in power.

- The Covington conflict has again exposed the fact that the fake news industry is the enemy of the people. Their narrative fell apart & now they’re whining that people are being mean to them. Black supremacists (an interesting take on these people here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oVKA2G6qcA ) tried to provoke a confrontation in front of the cameras so they could manufacture evidence of how Trump supporters are vicious thugs. When they failed they sent in their fake Vietnam veteran native. I wonder if this was a setup to shut down future march for life demonstrations.

Regarding McCallum and his treasonous outburst and other numerous, disreputable behaviours…
I Googled ‘alcohol abuse and brain damage’…McCallum’s face was staring back in many of the articles, as a representative of of an alcoholic’s brain-damaged descent into insanity! ; )
Someone do him a favour and take that drink out of his hand, and do Canada a favour and take the Liberals out of this land – and that’s no joke!
I guess the embarrassment threshold for the Liberals is very, very high…just look at all the embarrassing things Jihadi-Justin-Groper has done to Canada, that the Fake News Media Party hasn’t been able to completely cover up and lie about – not to mention all the treason and other high crimes…
I wonder if THEREBEL might consider running transcripts instead of video footage of that little POS Jihadi-Justin-Groper, lying through his teeth every time he flaps his jaws…the reaction to his lying mongoloid face, spewing insanity and treason, is too much to bear sometimes…my blood pressure and sense of well being won’t take it…please have some consideration for your fans and patrons!
As for that Bishop and the Diocese and their despicable and heinous betrayal of those children under their charge, I guess this is now the norm for the Catholic Church under the apparent anti-Christ POPE!
I guess it’s obvious at this point that the Devil is winning.
He sure has a lot of help…

Smilin’ Andy can no longer take conservatives for granted.

Ahem… Maybe The Smiling Chipmunk’s attention may have been “focused” by the fact that in four short months Bernier’s PPC have formed riding associations from coast to coast and just had a fantastic fund drive to boot, once they achieved official party status?!?…
Yes, consensus here seems to be that " the public’s interest in the PPC" is forcing Scheer to Right the ship.
One poll even showed a 9% vote for PPC if an election were to be tomorrow. While we shouldn’t take much credence in one poll it is quite an achievement after 3 or 4 months, when Elizabeth May highest poll in 10 years of working at it is 5%.

I also agree with the person here that suggested that Scheer’s people are now listing to The Rebel in order to get a feel of their base.

John McCallum is said to be a Drunk but the Liberals will tell you he has a speech impediment. I think the Liberals are right on this one, he has a bad case of Foreskintounge.

McCallum should be fired ,but the Liberals never fire anyone.

You may have a point there Andy, been thinking the same thing myself.

Note how Smilin’ Andy mentioned that Trudeau has a stated admiration for China’s “basic dictatorship” in the CTV interview. I wonder where he got that idea?

So Elmer Fudd’s long lost twin brother John McCallum Fudd is back in the news, just when I thought he had been successfully exiled to China where he couldn’t do much damage

Barb Morrison….Good Post, I hope they get that so called comedian Kathy Gifford.
In the US people have sued MacDonalds for their coffee being too hot, so surely ruining these kids future is worth something.

McCallum handles his new position like he did that of immigration minister – a complete farce and joke. Scheer is correct, McCallum should be fired along with all those who are in Trudeau’s globalist government who bow or bend forward for foreign entities – they are all traitors to Canada and Canadians.
My hope is that the lawsuit against all the fabricators of fake news in the Covington Kids fiasco goes full steam ahead and anhilates all those who would use their idiotic ideologies against children. Hopefully the fake native Vietnam veteran is duly included in the lawsuit along with the black racists who hurled their disgusting taunts against the children. The left continuously show their true colours and need to be held accountable for their actions and hate-filled verbiage.

Liza Rosie—I don’t believe we will hear Scheer talk about lowering Immigration; in fact Rempel is even clamming up about it. The CTV and CBC are just waiting for him to even talk about. Mulcair was on MSM today saying how much Quebec needs more people. We know Trudeau will nail him if he talks about it.

Scheer and Rempel aren’t ignorant re the polls on Immigration; I think they are watching Max, on this and other subjects, and if Max doesn’t get crucified, they will cautiously lean his way.

I believe there are 3 different types of Politicians:
1. Theresa May, promises everything but does the opposite.
2.Trump and Max, try to do what they promise.
3. Scheer hardly promises anything, but once he gets in , he isn’t afraid anymore and works on the peoples wishes. (A big hope)—Ted Tadrite would have liked this post, where ever he is.

Andrew Mirlach good point , he was never on our side , neither was Justin. This is not a surprise to anyone who has the capacity to think.

Al Peterson, thank you for the John 8:43&44 quote. Socialists certainly are demonic in nature…and they lie like rugs.

Ron Joseph I have to agree that Scheer sounded good on China, and called out Justin and Mr ‘Magoo’ (thanks to whoever it was who drew that comparison) .

I am still waiting for Scheer to be that decisive on securing the border, and what he is going to do with those already here. I don’t want them bussed to other provinces. I also want to hear him talk about reduced immigration numbers not how much money we are going to have to fork over to make the next waves comfortable. He won’t commit to smaller immigration numbers. But I’ll give him credit on saying he would fire McCallum .
Justin should relieve McCallum of his duties and shelve the dinosaur.

No, not “vodka” T Tyler Dunbrack… I think he’s developed a taste for that Chinese rotgut called Moutai… It was the late Liberal Indian Affairs Minister, John C. Munro, of falling down the stairs fame at Mount Hope Airport, that I think used to gargle vodka…
