Andrew Stephenson yeah sure they subtract 70k LMAO! Sorry your pathetic BS only works on left wing fools.

What does “seasonal adjustment” mean, then, MAGA?

The raw numbers for the three months (April to July 2019) were 18,852k in April and 19.284k in July, a net-creation of 432,000 jobs. (table 14-10-0022-01) whereas the seasonally adjusted numbers in the labour force survey were 18923, and 19030k, respectively (Table 1 in respective Labour Force Survey releases) only 107,000 jobs created. Where does that discrepancy arise? The economy created four times as many jobs as were reported.

I wonder what Andrews excuse will be if Justin gets in again and jobs go down in another season?”

I would point out that they always go down in the fall, and a stronger summer hiring season means more September layoffs as those temp postiions end.

What would you say if the job market kept growing? THere’s a reason Spencer Fernando only point out the July numbers – it’s because it’s the only “loss” in more than a year, in what was actually one of the best years for job creation in Canadian history.

“Out of the 60 States and Provinces, BC was the best Province coming in 31st. Quebec was 2nd coming 43rd, while the rest of the Provinces came in close to last.”

They said BC is 9th overall for job creation, and 7th for private sector job creation. Its low ranking is entirely due to low participation rates, and that’s purely because of the high number of retirees.

Narrator: Smug Eastern leftist, Andrew, sez everything is just peachy keen in Canada while ignoring the 200,00 jobs lost in Alberta due to hysterical climate alarmism and the 69,000 private sector jobs lost in Canada in the month of July.
😒”

How many private sector jobs rwere lost in June? May? April? What about the numbers without seasonal adjustment?

I’ll give you a hint, they normally subtract out about 70k from the July numbers to make up for summer hiring in the seaaonal adjustment. I posit that perhaps, summer hiring was earlier than normal, pushing the hiring normally in July, into June, explaining both the very high earlier numbers, and the surprise low July ones. Make sense?

All knowing andrew believes that Greece, with 50+% who work, work for the government is a thriving economy. Proof positive that being educated, as the all knowing one claims itself to be, does not necessarily make one smart.”

Been to Greece? They are very entrepreneurial, and virtually all of them have sidegigs of some sort, and none of it makes it to the official statistics, because then they’d have to pay taxes.. (ever noticed how much countries like Greece or Italy like working in cash? Ever wondered why that might be?)

Beautiful country, by the way. I wholly recommend. :)

Why would Andrew want to move to the US when it is the land of Trump, the 1st amendment and the 2nd amendment? I would think Venezeula would be more her style.”

Money, mostly. I’ll admit it. Canadian employers are ridiculously stingy, you get paid twice as much in the States. Plus, Trump won’t be around forever.

not even scheer can ask this liar and her ontario screw ups. amazing canadians can be sold so easily on the ELM[environmental lying movement]. billions wasted, and to do what. nothing needed and nothing gained, except another politician stealing more of our money. by the way, like biden they want public statements reduced because both have dementia.

If Liz May became our PM and visited China, Pres. Xi Jinping would commit her to his re-education center..

The “Big Scam” climate change cult only has one function,to rob Canadians of their hard earned money. The climate cult destroys economies, jobs, and has hardly if any effect on the climate!! These climate preachers should all be thrown in jail and charge with crimes against the country.

Maybe Andrew Stephenson can move to New York with Butts. They have no loyalty to Canada and well, since there is no love lost between us, it would be the best thing for all. I just pray Justin and his entire family move to New York also. Solves our problem and gets him nice and close to New York UN headquarters, Sophie to better clothes shopping and Margaret to her new career as a small club comedian. Good riddance to these parasites and destroyers. If they died before I do, I would dance on their graves.

May’s Island wouldn’t be able to exist without the public sector, real estate and tourism, and it wouldn’t have that without oil and gas. What does she think those ferries run on? How about all those cruise ships that bring in all those tourists who spend money they probably made in the private sector in the free market? Without oil and gas her new Hubbie wouldn;t have that fancy sports car and since its not electric he needs gasoline to run it on. May is a true believer, but she is also a hypocrite and an elitist. The social change is for the little people not for her of course. She is in the protected class because she is one of the ‘High Priestesses’. I think she should have psychological testing to see if she is fit to govern. In fact I think all politicians should have testing by real psychologists of a rotating pool from all over the country.

Bottom line, I think Lizzie May is more than a bit batty.

Absolutely right Alberta Maga. Top heavy public sector jobs are actually a sign of an economy that is being dismantled. Also, those public sector jobs would not exist without taxpayers to foot that bill. Andrew thinks it can be a self perpetuating job and tax creator. A top heavy public sector not only makes for a lazy entitled populace who think they deserve huge benefits and raises every year for very low productivity and often work that is redundant or entirely unnecessary, but it also stifles innovation. To be dependant on the nanny state, is not a normal or healthy environment for any society or any economy.

Of course they won’t expose May or the rest of the eco terrorist outfits for the damage they’ve done to the economy. They are as guilty as the rest of them for helping to destroy it.

Elizabeth May is one of Canadian taxpayers funded lottery winner Omar Khadr’s biggest fans.
Her and Mohammad ( tea bagger ) Trudeau support multi million dollar Canadian taxpayer funded rewards for any and all Islamic terrorists.

Economic devastation = lowest unemployment in two generations?
-————————————————————————
Andrew, if I were PM, I could make Can unemployment go
to almost 0%, simply hire the unemployed to work for the Government, or have your Country located beside an Economic Superpower and reap the benefits when your neighbor has a President that is an Economic Genius.
I’m sure you won’t agree with what I just said , so here is a new Fraser Inst. study comparing the 50 US states and Canada’s 10 Provinces over Trudeau’s 3.5 years.

Out of the 60 States and Provinces, BC was the best Province coming in 31st. Quebec was 2nd coming 43rd, while the rest of the Provinces came in close to last.
Keep in mind that Canada was out performed by around 20 very poor States.
