Mila Kunis' Pro-Planned Parenthood Stunt Results In Jim Beam Boycott

Rebel Staff

While appearing on TBS’ “Conan” last Thursday night, Hollywood actress and Jim Beam spokeswoman Mila Kunis decided to go political by revealing a stunt she pulls for Planned Parenthood every month. It didn't take long for this to backfire on her career in a huge way.

While appearing on the late night show, Kunis bragged to host Conan O'Brien that she has been making monthly donations to Planned Parenthood in the name of Vice President Mike Pence, who has actively been opposed to abortion.

Kunis was smug about her little protest, thinking she was hitting the Vice President where it hurts. However, she likely isn't laughing now, as conservative Twitter users made it clear that they did not see what she did as remotely funny:

Unfortunately, Kunis' attitude is typical of Hollywood stars these days. Actors aren't satisfied with simply being entertainers anymore. Instead, they feel that it is their duty to get up on soap boxes and preach to the public about their political beliefs, which are typically leftwing the vast majority of the times. It's not up to an actor to tell his/her fans how they should think about various political issues.

The response to Kunis' Planned Parenthood stunned shows that the average American is sick of being preached at by out-of-touch millionaire Hollywood star. Americans showed that in the last election, when they voted for President Donald Trump despite the fact that nearly every Hollywood celebrity begged them not to. By boycotting Jim Beam, Americans are letting Hollywood stars know that moving forward, there will be consequences to lecturing us about politics.

What do you think about this? Sound off in the comments section below!

mad\rdon Day, that NRA idea is a great one. Like you say, tit for tat. Surely she could see that she was opening herself up for it? It is nauseating to hear the applause from all these self-absorbed lefties when she reveals her cute little "protest’. Truly scripture hit the nail on the head when it said, “Every intent of thoughts of their heart is only evil continually.”

And it is funny how someone’s choice demands reaching into my wallet to pay for their “choice.” Why do I not get a choice to not pay for what I did not use? Why does the left always demand other people pay for their perversions?

I don’t know if you realize this, but “pro choice” means I believe that support should exist for whatever choice you make. If you want family support from a pro-life organization, that sort of service should be available to those that want it.

Andrew, maybe you should have a chat with our current PM. He demands that his candidates support abortion or he won’t allow them to run for office. So much for “pro choice”.

Mardon Day good point , she has not learned from what her fellow Ukrainians went through in the past.

Andrew so you are against Iceland aborting all down syndrome babies then?

Andrew Stephenson this is CHOICE by people, getting someone else fired for their views is NOT CHOICE! Is your small mind not capable of comprehending that? No one is saying the left cannot use services they do not support, the left sure loves to force their views on others, this is not so in this case. Your immaturely equating two different actions.

Personally, I don’t have a problem with this, and I’m pro life. If we here at the Rebel support freedom of choice, we should support her choice as well as her right to spend her money in any way she sees fit. It’s not different than donating to the Democrats, and I’ll bet Mr.(s) Pence and Trump enjoy a lot of money given to that party on their behalf. Before we get all on our high horses here, remember that it’s her money and this is not a long ways off from a certain friend of a certain Prime Minister paying a bill for another friend. Wink. If anyone’s offended by Ms. Kunis, feel free to donate money to Milo Yiannopolous on behalf of Joy Behar. Or better yet, give it to the Rebel and put Climate Barbie on the receipt!

Oh Andrew, I forgot, you don’t have empathy. Your self-declared misanthropy truly limits the full range of human emotions; social interactions and ability to feel connected to something other than yourself.

Nope. You missed the point of the article and what Kunis is purporting she does month after month; I was asking you to think about that. Put the shoe on the other foot and imagine if someone did that to you.

Oh, I see your point. The problem was that it’s logically invalid, and based in a false dichotomy, in that pro-life orgs are a valid option in a free choice environment, and the inverse is not true.

Again Ms. Stephenson, you missed the point!

Jim Beam will likely have to dump Mila Kunis.

Abortion is murder, period. Saying the issue is pro-choice is just away of encouraging the murder of unborn children, instead of supporting God given life. The sickest thing of all is that they are removing these babies body parts, and are making money off of selling them. What a horror show humanity has become, when we don’t even protect the unborn, and our future generations.

Mila thinks she is so clever, but instead she reveals her selfishness and ignorance. Hopefully her career will suffer because of her disclosure.

I’m thrilled to hear that I have inspired you to be charitable!

I don’t know if you realize this, but “pro choice” means I believe that support should exist for whatever choice you make. If you want family support from a pro-life organization, that sort of service should be available to those that want it.

Well Andrew, what if you got a montly letter thanking you for your generous support of Pro-Life initiatives, as you seethe, and call out “how dare you!” remember your little post today.

Apparently, when the left wing twitterariat gets offended, it’s bored SJWs who have nothing better to do. When the right wing twitterariat does it, it’s supposedly some sort of grassroots movement.

Behold, the power of media spin. The exact same thing bears two different meanings depending on whether you agree with the underlying message or not!

I heard someone signed her up as a lifetime member of the NRA as a tit for tat. For someone who has claimed that she knows what is like to live in a communist country USSR, I think little Ms. Comrade is showing her true colours.
