Minister Carr takes jabs at Harper in Calgary: Memo to Liberals - election ended in October

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

The Liberals are still acting like they’re campaigning, months after the federal election.  They’re taking shots at the former conservative government any way they can.

The Minister of Natural Resources Jim Carr, was in Calgary recently and refused to credit the Conservatives for getting four pipeline projects completed. The Minister even went as far as fast tracking the conversation to 2011, ignoring 5 years of conservative leadership while doing so.

During those 5 years that he ignored, the Kinder Morgan Loop was built in 2008, Keystone and the Alberta Clipper were built in 2010 and he completely failed to mention that the Line 9 reversal became operational in 2014. Carr also didn’t address any provincial pipeline projects like Enbridge’s Edmonton to Hardisty project.

When are the liberals going to stop campaigning and start working for their constituents? The election was over in October, but I can’t count the times a statement from a Liberal takes a jab at the former government. It’s time to stop playing political theatre and get to work solving the issues affecting Canadians. Although, our new Prime Minister is an expert in theatrics, being a former drama teacher and all.

It seems obvious from the comments of Rebel viewers and also from comments in other media news sites that there is a very strong feeling across Canada ranging from bitter disappointment to personal hatred for Justin Trudeau. And although this criticism is very well deserved, I’m beginning to see that the true responsibility and/or accountability for the disastrous consequences of his selection, election and subsequent foolish behavior and decisions, rests as much and perhaps even more with the Executive of the National Liberal Party who’s apparent raison d’etre is to win elections purely to acquire power, and not to govern the Nation wisely. Some say “that’s just the way politics works” – or at least that’s what we have accepted for decades. The Liberal Party just excels at it.
The logical solution however to this growing potential destruction facing Canada from, for example, proponents of regional separation or outright civil war, might instead be the total remake of the current Federal Liberal Party, its culture and operation; an organization that no longer functions appropriately or effectively in today’s world. The Liberal Party is trapped in a political model that is patently dysfunctional and a throw back to distant times.
But changing a large organization’s inherent culture is usually impossible. The more successful alternative is to dissolve the current (Eastern Canada) Liberal Party and somehow create a New Canadian Liberal Party. But just congratulating themselves because they are in power is exactly what they shouldn’t be doing. That will only increase the likelihood of the country’s demise. Too bad what needs to be done will never happen without constructive Leadership.

There just giving everyone the run around!
The real answer to this refusal to serve the Canadian people is drafting Legislation that will take them out of power or having the Governor General do his job and remove PM Justin Trudeau, at the very least insert Marc Garneau as Interim Prime Minister, along with Garneau choosing a whole new cabinet that does not all consist of Environmentalists’ and Minus Gerald Butts as well, the people didn’t elect Czar Gerald Butts!

Operate Government under these terms say two or three months until another Federal Election can be decided upon and agreed upon!
Otherwise there will be nothing but trouble and no Peace in Canada under this Government!
Nobody is happy with this Government they are making Canadians’ the joke of the world!

It is understandable that there is still a lot of anti-Harper feeling in Alberta. But there is also a lot of anti-Liberal sentiment. To tell people to “get over it and move on” does a disservice to free democracy. Yes, the Liberals won big in October, but people can still be critical if they want.

I think this might be the first time a government based itself on the former government instead of respecting it and moving forward. But hey, people were dumb enough to vote for this child and probably soak it up like a sponge. Little children always blame the other guy when playing on the playground.

I’m gobsmacked at the absolute ignorance of those who voted for this failed drama teacher. His resume shows someone who has dropped out of everything! And those voters thought that this repeat failure should be the tyrant over us??? This mass naivete needs to have a wedge hammered through it. And I think the wedge is coming in the form of civil war. We just need to watch Germany to see that is exactly what will be played out here. This is why our history should be taught in our schools, but now they have got brainwashing, and the destruction of individuality down to a tee. It’s all coming together now. The marxist ideology is mirrored in all leftist parties, and runs lockstep with islam. Our traitor in house is a muslim convert. I wonder why the Catholic Church never publicly dressed him down over this?

The Liebranos will continue to castigate the previous Gov’t in an attempt to justify their current violations!

If my kids continued to blame someone else for every little thing, I’d give them a damn good spanking, and I’d take away something that meant a lot to them, until they corrected their childish behaviour. The liberals need to be spanked, though I’m thinking many of them would like that!

My what an impressive resume. Boy Trudeau was almost 30 years old before he had his first job. He had only worked 2 years of his adult life before he got married. He felt he had more professionals student days left in him, so he went back for Environmental or Integrated Geography. Then stumbled into the ‘family business’ so to speak.
( integrated geography represents a set of analytical tools for assessing the impact of human presence on the environment by measuring the result of human activity on natural landforms and cycles). And he was raised by a communist. Is it a wonder he is selling out Canada for the new and improved UN global agenda?

Lets just see how much pipeline gets put in under the Liberals. Lets watch and learn from the masters as they gently obtain ‘social license’ from Aboriginals, and environmentalists not confident in the regulatory process of the Harper years. What a joke. Its all a sham. A make work project at best.

The Liberals in Ontario are still blaming Mike Harris for their troubles. It is part of the Lieberal DNA, plus it makes them feel better. Obama does this on many of his speeches as he is constantly in campaign mode even though he is not running for office. It is one step below lying and two step below corruption, all part of the overall Librano method of confusion by diversion.

Mr Martinson,
Unfortunately, this may be his longest period of employment of his entire life. Unless he gets bored again and God forbid doesn’t get his Nobel peace prize in his first year, like his mentor Obama. We can only hope!

You should also get over the “substitute drama teacher” label. After the subbing work, he had “permanent work as a French and math teacher at the private West Point Grey Academy” in Vancouver (see wikipedia). And then at age 31 started an engineering degree in Montreal (dropped out after 2 years), and after that also started a Master’s degree in Environmental Geography at McGill (and also dropped out). So, he had two real jobs before being elected as an MP in 2008.
1971 = born
1977 = parents separated. Raised by his dad.
1989 = graduated high school
1994 = graduated with a B.A. in literature (5 years to get a B.A.)
1994 – 1996 = no work for 2 years. Traveled to 90 countries?
1996 – 1998 = got a B.Ed from UBC (no work for a year after graduation)
1999 – 2002 = worked in Vancouver. First job at age 27
2002 – 2003 = studied engineering
2005 got married (no work for 2 years before)
2005 – 2006 = studied Environmental Geography
2006 started to be interested in politics
2008 ran for MP and was elected in Oct.

Taking jabs at the conservatives is all they’ve got. Liberals love to divert attention by name-calling and telling you to “look over there” all the while they have hand in pocket. I think that this obsessive compulsive need to criticize the former government tells me that Mr. Harper and the rest of the grown-ups with him did too much right. The Liberals therefore have to defame the past so that they can justify an undo and re-do of everything that tax payers already paid for in the past 10 years. Do not be fooled, this is an out and out Liberal revolution.
My prof reminded us that a Revolution is a 360 not a 180. In other words, people who get all radical think they must destroy everything the past represents and start all over, even if some of it could be built upon. The radical god will have none of it because he believes that he has reinvented the wheel, i.e. figured out humanity and what it will take to fix it.
He forces the changes, some works , some does not, trial and error inevitably lead back to where they started in some form. There will be very little to show for it all in the end, but hey it’s just you and I that paid the price but over and over again.
So when you hear this Liberal-speak, anti-Harper, it is really their pre-emptive and only defense before they stick it to us. The sad thing about all of this before Oct 19 it was predictable, it is so predictable. “Trudeau’s [Sr] … 1970s—inflation, unemployment, large budgetary deficits, and low growth rates … . ‘The most overrated prime minister in Canadian history,’" (Macleans June 10, 2011) Talk about deja vu!

@justins diary
Justin I have heard thru grape vine athourities that theREBEL is working on an exclusive breaking storey, the likes of which the msm will not touch.
A whistle blower from"birth registries Canada " phoned all news networks including theREBEL.
As you know before you were elected , the most popular name for baby boys was Mohammed ,but after your mudslide sweep the two most popular names now are Justin and Mansbridge , go figure Mansbridge as a first name. I digress ,where was I ,oh yeah, it seems that you did or said last week has set off an explosion of "buyers remorse ".
The mothers now frantically want to cancel the name Justin , and now the two most popular requests are STEVEN andEZRA.
Any comments Justin ?

This is all he has. The reason they fall back on this strategy is because they have nothing new to offer other than whatever Harper stood for we are against. It might make good for election sound bites during an election but it does not translate into an explainable coherent policy.

I remember telling Brian Lily that civil war was on the horizon. He didn’t agree with me then, but I wonder if he does now.

Maurice, I agree with you 100%, trudope is only capable of reading to kindergartens as he proves it everyday. He is so condescending, it makes me sick to look or listen to him. He belongs in an institution. And to think, he doped so many stupid Canadians to vote for him and his insane dribble. Nice going left-winged liberals, trudoop proves how incapable of thought you all are. The MSM are the worst bunch of idiots I’ve ever seen and they continue to spew his bs all day long.

Liberals – locked on loop stupid.

While the imperial Librano legate of Ottawa was busy telling Albertans why their votes don’t matter to the Liberal government, their emperor Justinius Narcissus sent an envoy out to the hinterlands of rural Ontario questioning the local barbarians as to why they reject Librano Imperialism and emperor Justinius the questionable.

Liberals Governing? Isn’t that an oxymoron that only Liberal morons believe?

Liberals are all about siphoning money into their pockets, not about governing. This whole new NEP process proves it. By creating nebulous new terms and nebulous new deadlines, it allows them to siphon yet more tax dollars into the pockets of their hand picked reviewers. Nothing like an extended review process to siphon money to private liberal pockets. This time the siphon is the diameter of a pipeline!

Previous example, Aboriginal Affairs. What is the first thing Bennett does? Remove accountability on her Liberal Chief friends. Next, you guessed it, set up yet another review about missing aboriginal women with a nebulous deadline of two years, when they can then review the review. In the meantime, how many women will have died, but they can die happy knowing their deaths are being reviewed and putting money in the pockets of needy Liberals. I know of one resident from the Highway of Tears who suggests just setting up a reliable bus service, eliminating the need for hitch-hiking…but that is just crazy talk, because it is a tangible solution that doesn’t provide graft for Liberals and friends.

Yep, Canada is back because it is 2015 (I know it is 2016, but to be sure it is, I think the Liberals need to set up a two year review process On the impact of date changes).

JT is NOT an expert in theatrics as you say, Holly. In fact, he’s very bad at it, although it’s his only so-called “skill”. Even though he’s not particularly good or convincing at it, it’s the only card in his bag of tricks. So he pulls it out every chance he gets. He wasn’t good enough to keep his job as a substitute drama teacher but apparently good enough to dupe enough Canadian voters and MSM to become Prime Minister, although I’ll never recognize him as Prime Minister. With JT in Ottawa, Wynne in Ontario, Notley in Alberta, Obama in the US, Merkel in Germany and the UN mandated global embrace of the twin religions of global warming and radical Islam, western civilization is toast. But, hey, we had a good run. Russia and China will be running things soon. They, along with the Islamic world are the only ones who haven’t bought into this man-made global warming BS. But they know a good thing when they see it and they’ve used western self-loathing, guilt and gullibility to their advantage. Right now they’re in bed together with Radical Islam, but when the time comes, they’ll know how to take care of them, and they’re ruthless enough to do what it takes. But of course, by then, our way of life will be history.

Just like Obama did for most of his presidency, left-wing governments continue to campaign because they don’t know how to do anything else. They are parasitic; they need the right to feed on because they can’t exist on their own!

Jim Carr is just too fkg stupid to explain it, so Jim Carr stuck to things he knows like writing home made songs and finger painting.

Just another day of liberal embarrassments. What else is new?
