More “looney far left-wing propaganda posters” discovered on BC Teachers union website

Rebel Staff

Recently, Ezra Levant brought you a story about a disgusting anti-military propaganda poster put out by the BC teachers federation which may have shocked you but those of us who live in BC are familiar with the extreme left wing nature of the BCTF.

This happens in many jurisdictions around the world where teachers unions have tremendous power and should make parents consider independent or faith based school instead of public schools in order to avoid this indoctrination.

Interestingly, shortly after Ezra’s piece about the BCTF’s anti-recruitment efforts and white poppies on Remembrance Day, almost all of the posters and information were scrubbed from their website.

But I did some digging and found more completely looney far left-wing propaganda posters that show you just how bad some of the indoctrination of our children is getting.

Watch as I share what I found with you.

Now that I’m aware of just how radical and out of touch the BCTF is, I have to hand it to the BC Liberals for their willingness to fight them over the years.

But BC parents should keep what we’ve shown you in mind. Not everyone can afford a faith based or independent school so if your children are being exposed to whatever looney propaganda the BCTF pumps out next, it’s important for parents to balance that out.

There should be cameras in every classroom to monitor the lessons that are being taught. The unions have kept the parents at bay, and have undermined parental authority at every turn. We need to get the unions out of our schools, and hand pick teachers. I expect that eventually the way things are going that they will just take our children away from us at birth.

Public schools are now as bad as Castro’s youth camps which start indoctrinating kids at the age of seven to turn them into good little Marxist soldiers.

My wife and I had run in with teachers many times when our kids were growing up. Sometimes it was stupid things like giving a kid a perfect mark on a test even though there were mistakes and other things like telling the kids to buy an artificial Xmas tree in order to save the forests. I have a friend with a Xmas tree farm who has 20,000 trees so my kids knew right away that propaganda was wrong. I have an older brother who retired from teaching. Growing up he didn’t the common sense God gave a goat but that didn’t stop him from teaching for 25 years. Looking back I think home schooling would have been a good option. The education system has been hijacked by the left which is sad.

Peter, my hat’s off to you for correcting your son’s teacher. It is parents like you and Tobias who can make a difference, on the front lines. I believe push back is essential. Confronting teachers, principals, district superintendents, school boards, the Minister of education and the office of the ombudsman if necessary. I’m not saying any one will get anywhere with these authorities, but if more parents confronted teachers on the biased, misleading and often outright lies their children are being taught, at least they would know that people are watching and taking note. I don’t know if they can’t imagine parents disagreeing with their ideologies or if they just don’t care. I think they count on most of it going unnoticed and uncountered.

My son’s grade 6 teacher is hard-left Marxist freak. She told the class that Donald Trump wanted to deport all Muslims. I confronted her about her misinformation, but apparently it’s ok to misinform 11year olds. But complained that my son had said that ‘in the Koran it says to kill the unbeliever’ . She then had the audacity to deny this fact. This far left propaganda is being softly, steadily being propagated to our kids. If there was a charter school in our small town I would have my son in it tomorrow

Great post on your ordeal Tobias, I don’t doubt there was discrimination against you and your children for a minute.

Tobias, if the Rebel received subsidies from the government they would have to answer to the CRTC. This way, being crowdfunded, the Rebel doesn’t have to answer to, curb or modify their content to please a regulatory body. The crowdfunding looks like it’s working and growing all the time. I’m glad it is the way it is.

To the Rebel, is there a way to “counter” comment or add to previous comments on your threads? Is that the only way to get access? We are not paying followers although we have donated in the past. It is sad your outfit doesn’t get any kind of subsidies like the CBC and other news networks do. Oh and is anyone following the story on the “Radio Canada” the French side? A brand new up to date building being planned etc . Can you guys do an indepth story on how that is being put together re financing etc ? Thanks

Many years ago we felt the power of the BCTF. We supported a few teachers that wanted to be independent from the unions because they felt children were (and are) being used as tools against the government. Afterwards our kids were ostracized in the classroom, very difficult to proof but because we had spend a lot of time “homeschooling” our kids ( we are both immigrants so we had different cultural backgrounds which was a never ending source of information for our kids compared to canadian children at the time).
They were (as school exams proved time and again) close to or at the top of their class., to the point that they were in two cases promoted to the next year at Christmas time.
But once we supported the “rogue” teachers all of that stopped to point we actually ended up, after unsuccessful meetings with the superintendent, to having to move out of the district to make sure our kids were treated fairly. Even then the unions tried to impede. Thanks to one or two teachers they actually graduated. It was a horror story. ( BTW they are all doing great 20 years or so later in managment positions, so something must have worked, and it wasn’t the union)

I swear that in a short while there will be ( spirt cooking) appreciation courses taught in public schools
If it wasn’t for the REBEL , most of us wouldn’t even hear about this

Good one WILSON

“All species, people, and cultures have intrinsic worth.” Except, of course, unborn children, who can be ripped apart and incinerated on a whim.

If we don’t protect our own kids from this no one will. Kids don’t deserve to have to deal with unions political stances. There should, SHOULD be no place for it in our classrooms. Wouldn’t have my kids in the public school system today. My grandkids are not in the public school system, More and more people are opting out of the public school system, because the teacher federations are rank with union corruption and globalist group think propaganda. It stinks to high heaven and has sullied the teaching profession. I wonder about anyone who goes into that profession these days.

The BCFT has fought bitterly with every government that BC has had.. this includes bitter disputes with the NDP during the dark decade of their reign. The implication here is that short of a fully communist dictatorship, there is nothing that will satisfy the BCTF…. therefore, they should be ignored or fought against at every step.

Of course the BCTF and NDP are in bed together meaning the NDP is not apologetic about its radical left-wing view of how the world should be. It’s also too bad there isn’t a viable alternative to the BCLiberals left of centre government that appears to be moving further into the green globalist group think of Trudeau/Wynne/Notley.
I’m not optimistic about the future of BC and Canada.
