Mr. Trudeau goes to Washington: Will he do more than just talk to lame duck President?

Brian LilleyArchive

Mr. Trudeau goes to Washington. It’s annoying how many times that line is being used but it is very fitting because just like Mr. Smith, Trudeau’s going to Washington to talk a lot, but is he going to accomplish anything?

It’s nice that Canada is getting a big state dinner and is getting a bit more attention than we normally do but there are some very substantive issues going on right now which should be a priority.

There are things like Keystone XL, softwood lumber, the state of NAFTA with a Presidential election going on.

It might be a good idea for Trudeau to skip the fancy ballrooms and champagne and instead take the opportunity to develop good relationships with members of Congress and Senators.

They hold a lot of power. Ignoring them puts the future of our economic relationship with our biggest trading partner at risk.

Oh I can’t wait to tell you all that I told you so, when Hillary is the President and you are sitting there with shit in your adult diapers wondering what happened – how could Democrats win again???

Now that he’s got that show of pomp and circumstance out of the way and given CBC a tonne of entertainment feed for the next 3 weeks, can he actually get down to work? And by work I don’t mean schmoozing with celebs or doing any of those other fun jobs he’s had in his rich-kid life, I mean in his office reading files. Note to JT: This is a country, not a game, and the economy is tanking. Your selfie will not solve that.

Oh, that is the clock running out on Obama.
I look forward to Justin taking his own long walk in the snow.

“I am more than happy to put my money where my mouth is. "

Better save your money MICHAEL MANN. You’re going to need it to pay off your public debt and the public debt us retiring Baby-boomers are leaving you as well. ;)

Obama is making all this silly fuss because he thinks this continent wide leadership of none, will send a message of encouragement to the rest of the globalists and cultural jihadist’s that the west welcomes this new agenda. Won’t little Justin be surprised when Trump or Cruz get into the White House and start leading head on instead of from behind. Boy Trudeau won’t know what hit him. Problem is, with the absence of strong leadership in Ottawa, we are likely to be left out in the cold regarding trade.
I really couldn’t watch any of it in the news, I was out of gravol.

Mickey, you can only hope that liar Clinton gets in to continue sharing your slanted head er I mean views.

You are so naïve. Nothing is going to happen to Hillary – except the fact that she will be the next President.

Let’s bet. I am more than happy to put my money where my mouth is. How about you? Or are you one of the many retired Rebel supporters on a fixed income?

When it is time for Sweet Meat Obama to leave, perhaps we will see Trudy go with him, walking away into the sunset, holding hands, never to be seen again.
This would be enough to create the first Canada, US, combined public holiday.

‘I can’t get no satisfaction’.

What’s the point of this meeting? To waste more tax dollars. Why go see Obama when he has one foot out the door already. Remember there is an election going on in the states right now. That’s why there has been nonstop Trump talk for like the last six months. Much ado about nothing indeed.

Isnt it sad to watch the msm refer to jr as prime minister when all the time we had a real pm they just referred to him as Harper. Sell the shithole cbc.

How does that old Shakespeare line go? Oh yes:

Two assholes, both alike in dignity
In fair America, where Maggie laid the Stones

Yeah they accomplished something. The first thing they did was to attack the energy industry.

It’s nice to see Canada and America have a good relationship again, since Obama hated Harper.

I am sure this good relationship will continue with Hillary and Justin. It will be good that Canada and America will have a stronger bond and will work well together.

Harper didn’t care about that.

Americans hate Obama’s fkg guts. And not many polls in Canada since Bernie Trudeau showed up – more and more Canadians hate Trudeau’s fkg guts as this terrorist supporter shows his colors.

Two closet homosexuals waving to the crowd. Bet it was a helluva K-Y party after all the formal matters were covered.

President Trump will put Bernie Trudeau on ignore as Chretien was ignored by Bush.

Too bad it won’t be Hillary.
Her IT guy got immunity and he is singing like a bird.
The smart money says, the FBI will be calling her in soon to have a little chat.
Remember what happened to Martha Stewart?

As much as it pains me to say this, Obama will be using words Justin does not understand. I am no Obama fan , but when it comes to brains , he is light years ahead of the trust fund idiot.
commented 2016-03-11 01:02:52 -0500
Hey America ,feel free to keep the idiot. AWWW GEEZ, sorry that would be cruel to expect you to do that.

it was just a wife-swap party.
Justin gets Obama and Sophie gets the wookie.

Well Sean, you’d be the first the FBI will be looking for … you are just too stupid to see the bullshit!

Dear Diary;
Yesterday, feminist or not, I wished for a diversion from the equal-pay for non-men thing, and I guess I’ve got what I wished for (which is normal for me). But I just don’t understand what all the fuss is about on this latest one.
I think it’s just fine for other members of my family to directly lobby the Public Safety Minister to allow the suspected Al Qaeda terrorism sleeper agent Mohamed Harkat to remain in Canada, and not be deported to Algeria as ordered, regardless of his bogus refugee claim and how he lied by using a forged Saudi passport to get in here. What on earth could possibly be wrong with that?
Okay, so it’s Sacha who’s been doing that lobbying and sure, he does propaganda work for my Islamic terrorist sponsoring brothers in Iran but so what? Even Duff Conacher, the Democracy Watch guy says it’ll be okay if I publicly recuse myself from involvement in the file, so why isn’t that enough to shut everyone up? Think about it, because then if I recuse myself, obviously, even Ralph Goodale himself won’t have as much as a clue how I feel about it. So what’s the big deal?
Right now I’ve got way more important things than national security on my mind. B.O. has invited me and some of the gang for dinner. So I’ve got to get ready for that. I’ll have to bring Stephie, as usual he’ll say something stupid, but no one understands him anyway. Chrystia (mmm) of course. Americans like some arm candy so that’s Catherine in. We certainly don’t want some too-white hashtag thing happening so we’ll include my guy with the turban to round off the diversity perception, otherwise it’ll be all the usual suspects.
This morning, as me and the gang were just pulling up to the White House, already B.O. was honouring me by having his band play one of my favourite pieces of classical music; the theme tune from Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Really, what’s not to love about this guy?

They came out tonight and said the soft wood lumber agreement would be finalized in 100 days
we’ll see ha ha

With the comedy writers, pomp & circumstance, the MSM wetting themselves, you’d think it was George Clooney at the White House.

This event will be much ado about nothing.

But if one thing can be drawn from all this is that this is just more proof of the nature of the destructive Progressive-Sodomite Agenda and the far-reaching infection that they can carried out across North America.

This does not bode well for the future, which will be a very dark one, indeed.

The solution is certain and undeniable. The solution requires the force of arms to destroy the Progressive-Sodomite Agenda and its practitioners. We are at war and we must start acting like it. There will be no satisfaction until there is victory, and that victory has one price – blood.

This is a war not only for values, but a war of survival. To destroy the Progressive-Sodomites is a life and death struggle, so the question is clear: do you intend to live or die?
