Ezra's top 10 observations from tonight's leaders debate

Did you watch the foreign policy debate hosted by the Munk Centre tonight? It was pretty good — all three party leaders were on their game.

Oddly, the CBC refused to broadcast the debate — strange, given their public mandate, and the $1 billion in taxpayer funds they get each year.

Ezra watched the debate, and made a list of ten moments that caught his attention — from Thomas Mulcair’s witty barbs against Justin Trudeau; to Trudeau’s love-letter to his father; to Stephen Harper playing the grown-up on everything from the environment to Canada-U.S. relations.

Mulciar just lied a big one. He claims that he would never let a none Canadian body dictate terms of any kind to Canada. But he wants to let the UN run right over all of Canadas laws and rights! Take the UN gun grab proposal that the NDP feels Canada should bow to!

Francis, Harper might say that if he gets a chance to speak if the puppy would just shut up for a moment.

Ed Bailey, I am not sure that Justin knows much of anything, really.

Why is Harper so afraid of saying that all the manufacturing jobs lost have been lost in Ontario due to the “Green energy act”. Go for the throat or all is lost.
commented 2015-09-28 20:38:11 -0400
maybe Justin doesn’t know that there’s a world wide recession and global economy today
commented 2015-09-28 20:37:46 -0400
Trudeau is just babbling without saying anything.

Well Harper didn’t become Prime Minister because of his good looks and especially because he came from the west, it’s all about his smarts!

Sure NDP reducing GHG emissions in Alberta to the point where there won’t be an ounce. Nor any income. Just like Wynne’s Ontario. Shut down oilfield and manufacturing. No GHG emissions.
