A pair of Muslims in Pakistan were on their way to pray at a local Mosque when they came across a 14-year-old boy.
After asking him what religion he belonged to, the boy responded that he was a Christian. This resulted in the boy being attacked, beaten and set on fire.
The boy, identified only as Nuaman is recovering from burns on 55% of his body and is being treated at the Meo Hospital in Lahore in Punjab province.
“I told them that I am Christian. They started beating me, when I tried running, both boys started following me through the street and then they threw Kerosene on me and burnt me,” the boy said.
He said a few people in the community extinguished the fire by putting sand on him. They then called for an ambulance.
According to Breitbart, he was coming from tailor shop when he was assaulted. He does not know the name of his attackers, but can identify their faces.
