In a new Prager U video, Ben Shapiro takes on today's left-wing university campuses and their culture of victim hood.
He explains that to the left, as long as you “feel victimized you're a victim” and even if you've never actually experienced discrimination, you've been targeted by “microaggressions”. As an example he brings up how it's now seen as “xenophobic” to ask someone where they're from and holding a door open for a woman is “sexist”.
“Everyone's a victim, except of course straight white males,” Shapiro says. “Also anyone who dares to disagree with the left.”
So how does the left react if you confront their nonsense? Riots. And they justify their violence by claiming all Conservatives are Nazis. Their logic is based on feelings, not fact.
Watch the video and let us know in the comments what you think.
… It is not putting feelings over facts. Even if their facts were right, it does not justify violence.
… The Left ultimately disrespects the ideas, values, and lives of those who do not agree with them- which rationalizes their bullying, smearing, and harassment.
Many College and University campuses are glorified day care centers. When will Administrators work toward helping young people actually be prepared for the real world? I believe there should be regular assemblies to address exactly what Ben has pointed out. For those campuses that restrict free speech; I believe all government funding should be withdrawn. Close safe spaces; prayer rooms etc…. and insist critical thinking is more valuable than feelings. If you find yourself overwhelmed by your feeling, seek therapy for goodness sake. Why allow yourself to be crippled by them?!
Employers can have a significant impact if they track campuses which support this nonsense & dismiss degrees as incompatible with company values and ability to make a profit. Further, they can inform Administrators they are turning out useless idiots who have no idea how to function in the workplace.
The unemployed Alumni can ask Administrators what their next step should be….besides paying back loans.
