A pair of camera glasses purchased off Amazon by police officer Quincy Smith gives us a first person view of how a confrontation with a suspect nearly turned deadly.
The glasses show a crime from last year, where Smith responded to a robbery call.
After telling 29-year-old Malcolm Antwan Orr to stop walking, he was shot four times.
They even capture a moment a bystander rushes to Smith's aid.
Smith, unsure of if he will live or die, pleads with the dispatcher to “Tell my family I love them.” It's a miracle he survived.
On Wednesday, Orr was found guilty of attempted murder and possessing a weapon in a violent crime. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
