MUST SEE: YouTuber Jackfrags makes a compelling case to include Vimy Ridge in new 'Battlefield One' video game

Skilled gamer and war historian Jackfrags has uploaded a video making a very good case for EA to include the battle of Vimy Ridge in their upcoming World War One video game.

Battlefield One will be one of very few games to ever take place during World War One, and the first in the Battlefield game series.

Jackfrags points out several aspects of the battle, including tactics used and how they could be implemented into the game. And it doesn't take very much effort to imagine this being executed either in a story mode or multiplayer map.

2017 will be the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. And what better way to educate younger generations than including the battle in this medium.

Of course, this wouldn't be the first game to include Vimy Ridge. Puzzle-based World War One side-scroller Valiant Hearts featured the battle.

Jackfrags plans on covering more World War One battles leading up to the game's release, so keep it locked to his channel.

Fraser, the Canadian version of the pilgrimage to Mecca. I like it. One could include Ortona from WWII as well. I’d love to do both trios. It should be required by all high school students. Oh, glorious dream.

I believe it is the duty and right that all Canadians visit the battle field of Vimy it will be a memory that will last their whole life. Here is a little side bar in 1918 Canadians liberated the little town of Givenche then again in 1944 Canadians liberated the little town of Givenche AGAIN
For a little nation of 10 million souls the effort put through was remarkable there was not one family who did not feel the sting of a lost a son, brother, father or husband. Truly this was the making of a nation just remember
