NDP want Elections Commissioner to argue with someone who’s wrong on the internet

Rebel Staff

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, I discussed news that the federal NDP want the Commissioner of Elections to investigate “slanderous” ads targeting their party leader, Jagmeet Singh.

Singh is currently running in a by-election in Burnaby, a suburb of Vancouver, where the average price for detached houses is $1.6M, and the ad they’re talking about isn’t a political ad — it’s just some clickbait that appeared on an obscure website called “Attorney Cocktail.”

Watch as I explain why this is obviously just a really dumb story. But, they’re using a really dumb complaint to ask for a really powerful remedy — government regulation of the Internet.
