NDP leadership race takes strong anti-Israel turn

Brian LilleyArchive

The NDP is picking a new leader, and unlike the last one, the next one appears to be hellbent on pitting Canada's socialist opposition party against the only democracy in the Middle East.

A questionnaire filled out by the leadership candidates shows just how far they will go to demonize Israel.

Watch as I explain.

No surprise there….the ndp consist of mostly low IQ who have an anti-everything axe to grind….mostly teenagers who have not left their homes, and all who live on handouts instead of working for a living. The ndp are becoming true to their abbreviation, ie. ’No Damned Principles". The ndp have already driven and will likely continue to drive liberal governments to destruction. The politics of the day is vote whoring, not creating the best government for the greater good. The propaganda machines of these political parties operate in concert with the government financed media, eg. the cbc and others printing their editorial propaganda in an effort to gain control that mimics Hitler or Stalin….they have no doubt read Mein Kampf and are following that recipe….control of people via taxation and the mirage of government infrastructure and social assistance programs, vs less taxes, less government interference and motivating accountability for ones self.

IJV is an extreme fringe group.. they would be more accurately described as a marrxist / communist organization, many of who happened to have Jewish ancestors…. To make a comparison to Christianity, IJV would not be fringe in the sense of Jehova Witnesses, they’s be fringe in the sense of Westboro Baptist.
Freedom House is not particularly friendly to Israel, but rate Israel at 80 (on the democracy scale)… far above any other country in the Middle East.. in second place is Turkey at 37.. all the other islamic countries are well below that. IJV, like any other communists, just cannot stand to see a person or country pull away from the pack with regards to being successful.

JAN G, answers?
Yeah, well someone’s gotta have them…
In hindsight one can see the steps that were taken over the decades to penetrate and permeate the institutions of control (The Fabian Society MO) and the agenda to condition and indoctrinate our children at the el/hi and post secondary robot factories, the social engineering by the MSM and the teachers/unions/school boards and government bureaucracies and of course the tragic effect it’s all had. This information is all available – outside of the mainstream – to anyone interested in looking. Lots to be found at THEREBEL.
No, I meant how did so many people get so fooled so badly and so quickly, into buying into all the really retarded and delusional stuff the left is always screeching or whining about…and trying to force on everyone else like a crazy Moslem Islamist.
I was born six decades ago, I do not recognize this planet today!
There’s a good reason why the population density is about one person per 100 square miles where I live…

The No Democracy Party is anti Israel? No surprise as they are anti democracy as well. One only needs to look at their support of the fascist Liebrano Gov’t on issues restricting Canadian freedoms and blind support of Islam. A very bumpy road ahead my friends.

and Niki Ashton is pregnant? For a woman who supports abortion, she is certainly taking a ‘traditional’ approach by having the baby. I wonder if this isn’t a wonderful ploy to attract female voters as being the NDP ‘wonder woman’ who is doing it all. To me, she is simply hypocritical and subjecting this baby to a great deal of stress and not a very holistic approach to the pregnancy. What if she has to stop activities before her due date? Does the campaign go on sick/pregnancy leave with her?

Leftists hate Jews because they also hate Christians. Tom Mulcair was raised Catholic but is now fallen away from religion. His upbringing must have played a role in his position on Israel (too bad he didn’t feel this way about babies). Once a Catholic, always a Catholic [way deep down in the darks of his conscience].

Because, I’m sure he knows that eternity is a long, long, long time.

Dan Mancuso: I’m asking the same questions. Do you have any answers?

For years the MSM message was “Never Forget”, when it came to the NAZI holocaust and anti-Semitism – back then I didn’t get the term, ‘self-hating Jews’ – so how has the entire industry – the MSM – done a 180 and have now become promoters of Islamic terrorism, let alone being aggressively anti-Semitic!?
How have the universities become so aggressively anti-Semitic , not to mention being blind supporters of Islamic terrorists?
How have the left in general and the NDP specifically become so anti-Semitic?
How has this all come about so quickly?
One can’t help drawing parallels to pre-war Germany and the rise of the Nazis through their lefty supporters…

Andrew Stephenson you mean Canadians do not give a fig about Trans lunacy.

Nathan W they face heavier restrictions form Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan , but keep fooling yourself. And the naval blockade is Israel and Egypt. But of course you are a brainwashed fool.

Nathan W what a load of crap you are spewing. Try going there you bigot.

Ignorant, anti-Semetic communist pigs! What a f***ing outrage!!!

Nathan W, how thoroughly hustled you have been! Instead of taking a revisionist’s point of view where history is concerned, I suggest you study it more closely.

Does this have to do with Cjpme also because i’m having trouble understanding this organizations stated purpose?

Sodastream moved back to Israel proper. It tried to keep jobs for its former West Bank employees, but due to knife attacks virtually no one received work permits. The result is that over 800 “Palestinians” became unemployed. Way to go politically correct BDS! Obviously, you busy bodies are doing good work and helping lift the Pals move up economically.

The anti-Israel sentiment has just about always been with the NDP, especially the NDP in Quebec. Mulcair, never really said boo when members of the party would demonstrate to shut down Jewish owned businesses and stores with Israel products, or comment about NDPers at demonstrations where Hamas flags flew; speeches against Israel/Jews were going on, even by members of the NDP.

I can’t remember a time when Mulcair mentioned his wife being Jewish other than when he would speak in a synagogue. He knew that he would probably lose votes by talking about her to a crowd, only mentioning her in a synagogue to get votes from Jews.

BTW, Mulcair had both Canadian and French citizenship. I guess he didn’t really know which country to support. Good thing he didn’t become PM. Same thing with Stephane Dion.

It’s not a democracy when half the people in the “country” are not allowed to vote, and live with the heavy boot of military occupation, tight checkpoints every few km, etc.

So, if Palestine were a state, then yes, Israel would be a democracy, as opposed to the apartheid that it is.

Canadian Mongrel, yes, thank you.
I left a comment for you on the other thread.

Unrelated, did you see my answer to your query about the Turtles?

Brian Lilley, this report greatly disturbs me. If any of these NDP candidates campaign within 500 km’s from me, I will be attending and publicly calling them out on anti-Semitic policies and support of Hamas.

Andrew Stephenson, you need to back up your statement, "Most Canadians don’t give a fig about Israel. It’s a dog whistle issue to conservatives but has little impact beyond that. " Says who Andrew?!!

Your repeated reference to “dog whistle issue”…is lacking in imagination and common sense!
Sounds like someone has you trained!

Excellent commentary again by Brian Lilley. Always a voice of sanity, moderation, balance and fact based discussion. One of the Rebel’s best. Indeed, one of Canada’s best.

As far as the content of his comments are concerned I am not surprised in the least that the NDP is substituting relatively balanced leadership under Tom Mulcair, for far Left loons who hate Israel. Keep in mind who this morally reprehensible Party will largely be catering to going forward. Consider whose support they are most likely to attract by a hard-line stance against Israel. Follow the changing demographic.

The worst part is that many Canadians will vote for the NDP instead of TruDope next time, with no idea of who they are really voting for. But as long as it is the Left in their opinion, it will work just fine. I have seen comments on various videos on Youtube, saying just that.

Leftists & Islam both hate the Jews because they hate God!
commented 2017-08-03 14:10:06 -0400
The NDP has a history of anti-antisemitism, from crackpot Libby Davies through to several members who were on ships trying to break the Palestinian navel blockade a few years ago. As for the Independent Jewish Voices , they remind me of those Jews who helped round up the Jews in the ghettos and helped put them on the trains, and then worked the ovens in the Holocaust camps. They were rewarded by being the last ones to be put in the ovens. Independent Jewish Voices are still Jews and Muslims hate Jews , period. Their ignorance will not save them.

Leftists have always hated Jews. They hate any group that is successful.
commented 2017-08-03 13:23:38 -0400
why do canadians continue to pay taxes for this?? canada isn’t even a sovereign nation at present so we aren’t held to the laws just as all the foreign parasites- including Americans , aren’t! You continue to pay for this , this is what you will get as there seems no other way to stop it other than war and we all know canadians are too lazy, self centered and entitled to get off their lazy royal asses and take a stand! It would interfere with their shopping and their little lives!!
commented 2017-08-03 13:14:21 -0400
BDS supporters are just ridiculous look at the boycott of soda stream all it did was result in the loss of jobs for Palestinians. Big win? I just wish we had some politicians with the balls to actually do something to improve our country and stop worrying about what the hell is happening in the rest of the world. But being anti Jewish right now is huge. But if Jerusalem falls so goes the rest of the world.
commented 2017-08-03 11:38:29 -0400
Most Canadians don’t give a fig about Israel. It’s a dog whistle issue to conservatives but has little impact beyond that. The country is more than capable of handling itself.

Independent Jewish Voices needs to review history about the fates of Jewish collaborators of socialist parties when those parties came to power. Anti-Semiticism has always been a pillar of socialism. The National Socialists and Soviet Socialists are the obvious examples, but you can also look at the ‘Democratic’ socialists of Europe today. In Sweden and France, they just shrug their shoulders at the blatant attacks on Jewish communities.
