How bad is Rachel Notley? Based on her shameless new ad campaign, she’s five times worse than Alison Redford.
Remember those building Alberta signs that littered the province?
Everywhere a shovel touched the ground or even threatened to touch the ground, Alison Redford had a sign saying ‘Building Alberta’ put up, proudly displaying her name on it. It was eventually revealed that the signs cost way more than they should have - $1 million - because they were rushed for partisan reasons.
It was partisan garbage. And the NDP didn’t like it. Leader at the time, Brian Mason said “we deplore this waste of public money advertising Alison Redford”
Well how ‘bout that?
Times have changed. Albertans are worse off. We have an NDP premier. That NDP premier, Rachel Notley, is spending $5 million dollars to advertise herself or rather she’s spending $5 million dollars to advertise her Climate Leadership Strategy.
That’s the climate leadership strategy that, according to documents leaked to the Calgary Herald, will cost Albertans 15,000 jobs.
Rachel Notley is spending $5 million to try to take the stink off her garbage fire of a carbon tax and the job losses it will cause. This is money Alberta doesn’t have and money the NDP would have condemned anyone else for spending.
So how bad is Rachel Notley? Compared to Alison Redford’s $1 million dollar vanity campaign, she’s five times worse.
