Newest phase of Calgary's Olympic bid projected to reach $30M

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On the last episode of The Gunn Show, William MacBeath of Save Calgary joined me to discuss the next phase of Calgary's 2026 Winter Olympic bid.

After City Council voted to keep the bid alive, they will now be voting on the creation of an "oversight committee" to monitor expenses and keep the public informed.

But if previous steps in the process are any indicator of what's to come, then it's doubtful that the oversight committee will allow for public scrutiny of their business.

WATCH my interview with William to see how his municipal advocacy organization plans to hold Mayor Nenshi and city council accountable.

And any housing that is built will be turned into no go zones for fake refugees.

Not all Calgarians voted for Nenshi the bully. The reason he wants the Olympics is to give his Muslim contractor buddies and unions work. All Olympics bids are just a transfer of money to liberal thieves like Nenshi.

It appears that he killed his ex-girlfriend because he thought she was an apostate. The Quran says to do this. Here is the important part of this story: In order to collect his reward of sitting near Allah and judging others, the Muslim Soldier must die in battle. He cannot commit suicide.
Although the RCMP didn’t say this, the guy probably ran out towards them with his gun blazing, hoping to be shot dead, thus he gets to sit near Allah.
The Cops are probably withholding this so the public thinks the cops are great shots.

Raymond Steppler asks where does the money go? I hope you don’t expect these elites to stay in Red Roof Inns and order Chinese takeout.
Only the best caviar and champagne for these folks.
Let’s hope we can torch this idea and I don’t mean the Olympic Torch.

Ron Joseph, you asked the $64 000.00 question! Who has the balls to answer you?

You Calgary voters surprised almost everyone when you put him in Office again. Even people outside your Province knew that Nenshi was a WILD SPENDER.
Why are you shocked that he wants to spend more of your money??

My wife and I will be retiring in just a few years, and if this bid happens, we’ll be leaving the city rather than stick around to pay the civic taxes. This whole affair is just nuts.

$30,000,000? Where does this money go, exactly? A bunch of suits sitting around a conference table yadayadayada-ing costs taxpayers $30,000,000? How is this even possible? Someone please FOLLOW THE MONEY
