Alberta conservatives divided on new Flames arena deal (William McBeath of Save Calgary)

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Calgary conservatives are divided over the new plan to replace the Saddledome hockey arena, home of the Flames.

Some see it as waste, but my guest William McBeath of Save Calgary supports the project, with some reservations.

Paul M.
exactly set up the safe for who injection sites in the politicians neighborhood.
We got one no one wanted and yesterday they kicked out the homeless camp behind our local school. What a mess and creeps hanging around all day. Panhandling and casing stuff.

Piss poor time to be building arenas when work has dried up and unemployment is over the top. I’d start first by running Nenshi’s ass out of Calgary and go from there!

Cut the city government across the board by 1/2 to 2/3 (except for actual essential services) & use the money to fund the arena. 2 problems solved. Set up the safe injection site in the neighborhoods of the politicians who back them (preferably right next door). Trudeau & the Liberals are crooked as hell. Anyone still left in the party is complicit in all Trudeau’s crimes.

I totally agree about conservatives being able to disagree. We’re willing to give a little on our stands when we hear well-reasoned arguments. After all, that’s how reality works. We all bring our views and ideas to the table. The best ones win out and people with weaker arguments change their minds on hearing better proposals.

They should leave things be. Just think of how many Welfare Cheque’s could be paid out to Muslims with that money….Just joking.
