(Sheila Gunn Reid sits in for Ezra Levant...)
Sam Oosterhoff is pro-life Christian conservative and he is also the Progressive Conservative member of the provincial parliament in Ontario for Niagara West.
He is bright, smart and ambitious: Elected to public office at just 19 years old, without hiding who he was or compromising his values.
And over Christmas, his parents were targeted by a failed St. Catharines, Ontario municipal candidate and LGBT activist named Rob Gill, who tweeted:
This Christmas let's protest Sam Oosterhof and his bigoted misogynistic and homophobic personality and upbringing. Let's protest at his parents home. #HateRaisesHate
Then Gill published their address and home phone number on Twitter.
So Oosteroff did what any loving and attentive son would do. He called the police.
At first, Gill said that he was not cautioned by the police, but Oosterhoff produced an email from the police indicating otherwise.
And outside of possibly the National Post, who published a very fair article about what happened, the mainstream media reportage of this incident has been absolutely atrocious, even going so far as to paint Gill as the victim, not Oosteroff.
It was just two short months ago that Antifa protesters found out where Fox News host Tucker Carlson lived and then converged on his house, banging on his door while his fearful wife was at home inside.
That's just one more example of what is becoming mainstream behaviour on the left, as I'll remind you tonight.
Twitter rules expressly state that you can't publish other people's private information without their expressed authorization and permission.
But I just checked and not only is Rob Gill not suspended — he still has his blue check mark...
NEXT: Former police officer Leo Knight joins me to talk about the bad year in Toronto policing and how social justice mobbing has made it impossible for cops to keep Toronto safe.
FINALLY: I recently got some "constructive criticism," so I take a moment to set the record straight.
