“Disastrous weekend”: Trudeau gives $50M to a U.S. comedian — and Notley nationalizes the oil patch

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Premier Rachel Notley has just nationalized Alberta’s oil industry. Like she has wanted to do her whole life; like every socialist or communist dreams of doing. Even Pierre Trudeau’s National Energy Program didn’t do this.

Her plan is like the dairy cartel’s supply management, but for oil companies. Except it's even worse, because she is halting production of Alberta oil.

So Canada will keep on importing about the 80,000 barrels of Saudi oil every single day instead.

And what’s so gross is that Canada’s so-called Conservative politicians are supporting this!

Like Jason Kenney, because he’ll say or do anything to avoid media criticism.

As for Andrew Scheer — well, I really don’t even know what he said. I read his statement a few times and can't tell it he's for or against it.

Well, that’s news from the west. How about from party central, in Trudeau’s world?

He just finished set-setting down to the G-20 summit. So obviously he needs a day off. He is the laziest man on Parliament Hill. But he found the energy on the weekend to type this:

Hey @Trevornoah - thanks for everything you’re doing to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s legacy at the @GlblCtzn festival. Sorry I can’t be with you - but how about Canada pledges $50M to @EduCannotWait to support education for women & girls around the world? Work for you? Let’s do it.

For those of you who don’t know, Trevor Noah is a South African-born comedian who now has a late-night show in the U.S.

According to the latest TV ratings, in the entire United States, just 240,000 people watched it. So, it’s like a small YouTube channel.

But Trudeau just said — Hey there! How about 50 million dollars! From Canadian taxpayers! If I tweet this to you, will you “like” it and “retweet” it, and invite me on your show?

Veterans are “asking for more than we can give”, Trudeau says. Albertans can go pound sand. The Oshawa GM plant is closing.

But Trudeau, in a tweet, throws fifty million dollars at some lame U.S. B-list comedian.

That’s Canada in 2018 — leftists nationalizing the oil patch; conservatives refusing to fight them; and a man-child prime minister jet-setting around the world, throwing millions of dollars at celebrities.

2019 isn’t going to be any better...

Ron Joseph-
I like your input usually but I think Mr. Levant is right on this and the inflated barrel just means more source of tax revenue for the province.
Its not very fair at all.

I was shaking my head listening to the latest stupidities of Notley and Trudeau. Which bozo advised Notley to reduce oil production? I still own a few stocks in our oil industry that I will dump first thing tomorrow morning, and I would expect many others will do the same. What do you think this will do to the sector? Incredible. I’ve never seen a gov’t in Canada mandating the production levels of private cos. And Trudeau continues throwing our hard-earned money all over the world. Another real jackass. God help us.

As a day one subscriber I must say that I appreciate the contributions that Alessandra Bocchi has been making on the Rebel. It is somewhat unusual to connect with someone from that part of the world who is so articulate in the English language. I sometimes wonder if today’s Italian people are fully aware of the enormous contributions that their ancestors have given to us here in North America. In fact, the only person in the whole world who I can call an ‘uncle’ is an American who came over from the old country when he was a kid.
Thank you for talking to us, Alessandra.

Actually this was Kenneys idea, and the producers. Notley stole it. We’re not going to sell it for less than it costs. We gotta break the bank that justin is syphoning. We’ll come out ahead once we get past the pathological altruism.

Ezra, you have caught a disease that the left usually exhibits," Notley Derangement Syndrome ", meaning your hatred gets in the way of your ability to think clearly.
You seemed to blame Notley for not bring able to slow or stop Oil from coming in from the US or the Arab Countries like Saudi Arabia. I am sure she would stop it if she could, however that is Trudeau’s decision.

Likely when you recorded your show, you hadn’t heard the Financial Programs report that her plan was an instant success as the price of Alberta Oil almost doubled.

I don’t like her either, but we have to realize that she has many influential enemies that want to shut her down; the main ones being Trudeau and Climate Barbie.
Add to that, Kennie, Horgan, Weaver and a million protesters.

The arrogance is really concerning. This really is a dictatorship now.

I am a bit confused about talk of a GM bailout. Didn’t we just give Government Media another $600 million on top of the $50 million a couple of months ago and the usual $1.5 billion to the Liberal Broadcasting Corporation?
So hard to keep track of my generosity.

Ezra….you are correct….2019 will not be any better. You are hoping for rational thinking from various sources and methinks it ain’t coming……
It will not come from “the man-child”?? (Gerber Baby….maybe) and it will not come from many so-called Conservative elite voices, because they are not Conservative and they ARE elite……
It will not come from many of the Proletariat ( they consider themselves to be a cut above that term) because they have not yet been “stung” hard enough nor often enough.
Have a look at what is transpiring in France at this moment.Too many Canadians have not yet reached this precipice,so no thought is given to what is happening at their Canadian doorstep.
The very sad reality is that many people will not / cannot /choose not to confront a looming catastrophe. It is much easier to rationalize it away. You are overreacting….you are blowing things out of proportion…you are a conspiracy fanatic….you are gilding the lily.
Unfortunately,it has been my personal experience that conditions have to become extreme, for many people to consider action.Think of it as the “They haven;t come for me yet” mindset.

Yesterday, when all our troubles were so far away…..Trudeau has to go, before Canada is completely ruined. Not only is he Canada’s worst Prime Minister, he is the worst person that I ever heard of since Vlad the Impailer. He is obedient though, his masters at the UN have told him to ruin his country and that is what he is doing, in a most industrious manner.
Now he is buying votes with our money, readying himself for his second term as PM and the death of the white race.

Which English King was it who was put to death by inserting a rod of iron into his rectal
orifice and then heating the rod slowly until it became red hot. The people complained the next day, they could not sleep because of the screams all night.

As for the impact global migration has on people, the elitist jerks don’t care about individuals and the misery they suffer. People are just pawns to be used to accomplish their dirty work. Elitists think we’re cyphers, not humans with aspirations for us and our families. May an incontinent mongoose tap dance upon those elitists’ heads!

It just occured to me that mass migration is hurting disabled citizens. Since employers can get fully-able labourers, why would they want to hire folks with disabilities? People like myself have a lot to offer. We speak the language and are willing to use work-arounds to get the job done. But employers have misgivings about us so they hire illegals and pay them less too. This shows how backward our governments are.

The entitled elitist Islamic trust fund baby maggot twit will give away our money to any globalist cause as long as it’s not helping any Canadians

No carbon tax, then more inflation to tax other ways.
Wonderful show Ezra. Very informative.

Notley and Trudeau are determined screw over Canadians, and Albertan in specific.

Notley cutting the production of oil by 325,000 barrels per day will NOT go over well with Albertans. In a way that is good because it is ensuring she will not get back into office again, forever, so she is going to do as much damage as possible on her way out.
commented 2018-12-03 20:09:34 -0500
I just love how the left wing media made it look like the reduction in oil production was a good thing, as it would mean driving the prices up for the benefit of the oil workers.
