Well said Stephen E.. The Philippines had to have been paid to take our garbage. Otherwise they would not have taken it in the first place.. Whatever deal was made, we should be sticking to it. We should send it back. This is nothing more than a Photo-Op and Propaganda for the Lib’s and Climate Barbie. But this time around, Canadians are catching on. Hopefully..

You ask why the Philippines took our garbage? Money.

Instead of recycling the trash as expected, the trash just sat there. Adult diapers? Recyclable. Stinks, yes, but still recyclable.

Do we still send financial aid there? Time to rethink the issue.

Scheer will be Trudeau Lite. Nothing more than a weathervane of PC politics, spinning in whatever direction the press is blowing.

The vote for him will be more a protest vote against the Liberals. Fortunately, there are some damn good people in the party who could easily fill his shoes.

Hmm… Joe Clarke lite?

Miss Harper yet?

Regarding the school allowing children to keep caps on while the anthem is played: why are the children allowed to wear caps in class or assembly? Who is running the ship? The wards or the adults?

Why won’t you say Richard Warman’s name? You know what he did.. Are you afraid of him? Afraid of the Kangaroo Court he represents?

Agreed, Bruce. My memories of Radio Communications is not what it used to be when I worked as a Radician (Radar and Communications Technician) on the DEW Line in the early eighties. But I knew very well, the advantages of Short Wave. And could in fact build a radio back then. I still have the books tucked away somewhere. When the “you know what” hits the fan, we will have to resort to time tested methods of communication…

The Rebel would do well on shortwave. WRMI or similar outlets would be an excellent fit for the Rebel. When the plug is pulled, it’s time to go to the old-fashioned technology of shortwave. Unlike the Internet or satellite, there’s no gate keeper. And since Cuban agents use shortwave to get their instructions from Havana, so we will someday need to get our message out through shortwave. It’s time we all dusted off those radios and tune in once the Internet is totally under Big Brother’s control.
