Canada’s largest journalism union announces it will campaign against the Conservative Party

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Maclean’s isn’t really a thing anymore — they used to be published weekly, now they barely publish once a month, most of its staff has been let go, and Rogers has put it up for sale.

But recently they put out an issue with a front cover that got lots of attention.

It pictured Andrew Scheer, the federal Conservative Party leader; Jason Kenney, the Alberta opposition leader who will probably be premier next year; and premiers Doug Ford of Ontario, Brian Pallister of Manitoba and Scott Moe of Saskatchewan. They’re against the carbon tax.

And in big letters: "The Resistance."

A lot of people mocked that Maclean's cover, and that pose. It became a meme.

And one of those memes was made by a big union called Unifor.

It shows Jerry Dias, the president of Unifor in the middle. And you can see the caption:

Welcome to Andrew Scheer’s worst nightmare.

Not a lot of doubt about whose side this union is on. They will surely register as a third-party campaign group in the upcoming election — to re-elect Trudeau. (You’ll recall that Jerry Dias was part of Trudeau’s disastrous advisory committee on the NAFTA deal.)

Unifor represents thousands of Canadian journalists.

Tonight I'll list all the newspapers and TV news stations that are unionized by Unifor. It's basically... everybody.

So essentially, the reporters at the Globe and Mail and CTV and the Toronto Star are going to war with some of the people they claim they’re reporting on neutrally (the Conservatives) and they’re going to war on behalf of some of the people they claim they’re reporting on neutrally (the Liberals).

Can you show me a journalist anywhere in Canada who is actually doing anything about this Unifor meme? Moving a motion to vote against this? Even starting a new, politically non-partisan union of political journalists?

No, don’t be silly.

You always suspected you couldn’t trust the mainstream media.

Now you have proof...

NEXT: Jack Buckby has been reporting on the ever changing Brexit story in the UK. Tonight he joins me to talk about Theresa May's future.

Another reason why the UK is stupid. They should of had an exit clause before joining the EU.

Karen, The UK has it’s own exit clause, the problem is that Theresa May will not use it. All she has to do is go to the EU and tell ‘We are out’ and that would be it. May dose not want out, she is, like Trudeau, appointed to her position by the UN. She is a Marxist Gofer and a traitor to Britain.
The British Conservatives in parliament are on the verge of issuing a no confidence vote to her and are said to have the 48 votes required to do so.

Canada has an exit clause with Trump. Germany probably has the best exit clause you could ask for if it had to leave the EU.
But no, not smug UK. As long as the crows stay with the Tower of London, so lasts the empire. Complete stupidity.

Karen MacLeod/Keith Barnes…I don’t have any answers for you………..
Robert, speaking for myself, I am not trying to crucify You, I am just trying to express my opinion. This dose not mean that I am correct. To make enemy’s on these Rebel pages is a suicidal error, for we are all on the road to extinction or at least endangered species, courtesy of BBC, CBC, CNN, or Daily Mirror, The Star, NY Times and probably the worst of all, ‘Red’ Sky News.

Karen is right, fighting back is the only option.

Keith Barnes-
I am absolutely determined to keep going without ANY reward but my sanity and freedom. I won’t wait for reinforcements, I will make my own advances & will seize my own hills ALONE.
I will not negotiate or make any alliance unless they are battle proven, not speculated. I surrender no autonomy but will give people a choice. I will not wait. I will not hesitate and will not stop until I know my side can fight what’s against them. If they are corruptable, they’ll forever loose ground.
I don’t care who is with me, I know who is against me & I know who else will be against me when I am done.
Not even the crown jewels of the UK can bribe me.
As with any war, the enemy is often someone you know. So why invest in speculated aliances?
Only invest in your knowledge and will.
Lastly, remember the cause with reverance.
If you are going to fight, fight like you are the third monkey on Noah’s ramp and brother, its starting to rain!
Although the battle is shared, some soliders are independent.

I am on the side of love. I love freedom. I love choice…………..

Well said Karen.

The pity of it all, is the fact that the people of the civilized world are going to have to learn to fight for their freedom all over again but this time the enemy will be among them before the battle starts………..Beware your neighbor of sallow skin, Beware the knife he may stick in, But judge him not, swallow your pride, For he could well be on your side.

I’ll be in it for my kids before I care about the working man. May can tear the London Bridge down brick by brick and only please Londonstan. That’s her legacy. No deal will save her from that.
I like Frankfurt. I like simplicity & honour. I like something’s that can’t be bought and can’t be corrupted. Can you put a price on your culture and day to day life? Isn’t that the point of where you are happy to settle? If you’re in it for money instead of a greater point of clarity, you hold yourself back and I won’t be tied up to such nonsense even if Brexit magically turned out wonderfully. I loathe the culture of England elites. I won’t be bought or persuaded otherwise. Especially not for the crown jewels.

Robert Greeley-
Just to make it simple. I f**king can’t stand the carbon tax. Its the tax of slavery. I can think of no greater front to freedom than getting the people to pay a price for the air they breathe, even if the air transends borders. Its a wealth transfer to the gov’t you think is from industry but its not. It doesn’t stop at industry. It can’t stop at the consumer. It stops where ever there is a taxiable exchange. Your identity as a carbon base lifeform is now to be taxed. You pay a tax to exist but euthanasia is now readily available. No bastards can love that. No bastards can make me pretend too.

Macron is doing the bidding of the love of his life, Merkel. …………..
Karen that money has not changed hands yet but May will do her best to get the UK locked in to a Brexit, in name only deal. If she gets her way, then the UK will no longer exist.

To be more precise, I am very proud about freedoms and what citizenship I belong too. An affront to my nationalities values is an act of war, pure and simple. If somebody hates what I love and come into my nation, they’ll never forget it. I’ll ensure it. If somebody uses my nation, that’s even worse.

I am on the side of love. I love freedom. I love choice. I love property rights. I love God and I love boundaries. Where ever that places me is up to you.
But if my love is ever crossed and liberty affronted or captured, the capturer would rue the day they were born. Love & Liberty lived well is a hard battle fought.

Robert Greeley-YAH BABY!! ‘MURICA! I’ll dance to that all night.
Al Peterson- France cannot avoid war. Its either with the Brits & America or its with Germany. You can’t love 2 sides & expect loyalty. Macron showed he’s loyal to the German facist ideology re-birthed as globalism. Its not about equality but a permanent inequality through voluntary segregation.
Its the same scheme white nationalist use to piggy back on the Right to eventually infect the host.
In this case, the facism is Middle Eastern & east Asian and it will re-activate European facism.
Putin isn’t immune either. The lot are sick, power hungry bastards out to make a name for themselves rather than collaborate & thrive for the good of all.
Macron has Lepen to deal with, not Merkel. Not any damn EU official either. She’ll put the last knife in his career first.

Looks like there is more trouble on the horizon with that phony new NAFTA deal. How did that crap get in there. I hope the senate gives it the thumbs down. The consumer in this country never got anything out of it anyway.

I wouldn’t worry about the wrath of our dear patriot Ezra Levant by disrespecting Macron on the Rebel page. From what I believe, he’d just ban you from commenting, sue you or something else entirely.
I think Ezra Levant’s intentions towards free speech is fully truthful and virtuous. But I think I saw him really pissed at Sun News once. He wore a brown blaizer and orange tie out of character. Just speculation.
Thanks for the freedoms, Ezra!

You forget the intention of NATO. “To keep the Soviets out, the Americans in and the Germans down”.
Where did you get that gem from? The Marshall plan was hardly keeping Germany down. Britain was more down after the war than Germany.

She’s on her way out and out of sight but in Macron’s mind.
Macron just wants more EU money. He’ll pucker up to the next chancellor.
He hates Trump because the USA want to be paid.
And the UK can kiss its rebate goodbye forever.

the canadian unbiased media scum will continue doing their usual lying fake news stories. hard to believe. hard to beat, when the owners and unions care nothing about the truth and always will. so let their ratings go to dust. trudeau, macleans, toronto star, cbc, ctv, and global suck and when they are buried, maybe then canadians can once again have truthful and unbiased media from all media, not just REBEL.
