There seem to be double standards when it comes to security at Belmarsh Prison, where Tommy Robinson is still being held for "contempt of court."
For example, every visitor must go through security when they enter and leave. One woman was asked to remove her cardigan for example, like you would when going through airport security. That makes sense.
Everyone also has to have their fingerprints scanned when they enter and leave.
However, a Muslim woman was also visiting at the same time we were. Not only was she not asked to remove her burqa, but the henna on her hands meant the fingerprint scanner didn't work for her — but the security guards just let her through — no questions asked.
I've also got an update on Tommy's interactions with his fellow prisoner Julian Assange.
