Tonight I'm joined by Marc Morano of ClimateDepot.com, a long time "global warming" skeptic and activist.
We talked via satellite when he was at the UN Climate Change conference in Poland. Just like The Rebel, Morano attends this conference every year, to challenge the so-called "consensus" on the topic.
For a few years, it was an uphill battle, but now, with the election of President Trump, I sense a change. I ask Marc if we have reason to be optimistic.
"The UN now admits that [the] Paris [Accord] was a fraud, was a joke and did not solve anything, as they'd originally claimed," Marc notes. He lists all the other ways the UN has been forced to backtrack on its goals.
I note that the anti-carbon tax riots in France are the latest example of how out of touch the elites are with the common man's opinions on climate change.
We also talk about the rise of fracking and America's transformation into a net oil exporter. I never thought that would be possible. Marc explains that Trump has done more than reduce regulations, he has changed America's "mindset" on energy.
On the other hand, I'm sad to say, I think Canada has missed its moment. I'm also afraid that Trump will not be re-elected in 2020.
What does Marc think...?
