NHL star Max Domi says Canada needs stricter immigration after Edmonton terrorist attack

Mike GwilliamRebel Columnist

On Sunday, NHL star and son of Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Tie Domi called out Canada's immigration policies after a terror attack in Edmonton was committed by a Somali refugee.

Domi tweeted, “Really hope everyone in Edmonton is ok. We're behind you. This is why we have to be aware of some of the people we let into our country.”

After leftists attacked the Coyotes forward for his views, he posted three consecutive tweets defending his position. “The amount of people that turn what I said into something negative is exactly what's wrong with this world.”

“I was not disrespecting any race or religion. I'm talking about the bad people that can come over here and harm our country. #isis,” he said. “Do you care if anyone comes into our country and causes harm to our friends and family. Seriously. Let's have a conversation about this.”

Good on ya Max Domi…..you’re going to get a lot of crap back at you. Do not defend what you’ve said, stick it back at them with what would you have as do to prevent in the future. Then watch the eyes glaze over and the stuttering start.

Good for Max Domi agree completely. Yes, Ron Voss, wouldn’t it be refreshing for the Conservative party to speak up?

Domi is just saying what we are all thinking – I’m glad he has come out now because after M-103 he will be arrested for emoting what he truly believes.

No doubt a new file has been opened at the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal to assess whether Mr. Domi’s tweets are a violation of hate speech. The threshold is quite low for celebrity personalities.

In the leftists’ world of "diversity is our strength’, such diverse opinion from the leftist narrative is simply verboten.
