Niqab campaigner Zunera Ishaq's terror ties include hosting radical group in her home

Rebel Staff

Before she even became a Canadian citizen, Zunera Ishaq sued for the right to cover her face while taking the citizenship oath, and won.

Earlier this week, The Rebel reported on Ishaq's ties to radical Muslim organizations.

Now a Quebec newspaper is also reporting that Zunera Ishaq volunteers for a radical association linked to the pro-Taliban terrorist group/political party Jamaat-e-Islami.

As an organizer with the Islamic Circle of North America, she's even hosted a ICNA meeting at her house!

What a great Canadian, eh?

Zunera Ishaq wouldn't talk to the Journal de Montreal when they asked her to comment, but why would she when every other media outlet in Canada is her cheerleader?

Wow, what an imbecilic piece:
“Now a Quebec newspaper is also reporting that Zunera Ishaq volunteers for a radical association linked to the pro-Taliban terrorist group/political party Jamaat-e-Islami.”
Not really a very solid or convincing bit of investigative journalism, just garbage. No link to the “Quebec newspaper?”

I had a thought after someone posted that perhaps the Germans that are fighting to keep these poor Syrian refugees out (including and especially the lady camera operator that is suing a refugee regarding the loss of her job because she was filmed trying to trip some of the refugees that had broken through the police line to stop them) should have to experience life as refugees themselves. Just to find out how awful it must be for them.

Well considering they (Germans) are being removed from their residence, some after 20 years or more in the same homes, to make room for immigrants, perhaps they truly are refugees.

This was my reply…

“Very interesting that you should say that. Very prophetic. If Germany and some of the other countries in Europe can’t stop the flood, the INVASIVE flood of parasitic migrants that are taking their jobs, money and even homes (yes, their homes. People are being kicked out of their residences to allow more room for migrants to live there in Germany) then soon they will end up refugees running from a wave of immigrants all screaming for Sharia now that they have a majority of Muslim residents.

I, for one, would very much like to see OUR government NOT allowing the Middle Eastern migrants, but to invite the Germans, Danes, Swedes, and any other civilized people that are being stripped of their property and culture to come to Canada and live here with us, peacefully.

Then instead of having unknown and unvetted Syrians, Africans, Iraqi and other primarily Muslim refugees here with no skills or education to add to Canada we would have a great influx of the kind of immigrants we used to get back when everyone felt that multiculturalism was a good thing.

And back when we took in those that were suffering in their countries or just wanted a better life they came to ADD themselves and become a vibrant part of Canada, and to be Canadians first and foremost.

I would love to see that happen, since hundreds of thousands of Europeans are now being displaced by Syrian refugees in their homelands. Offer to allow them visa’s to come here and let the refugees go there.

I have to admit letting go of Europe to the Muslim scourge is painful, but I fear that it’s too late, and that the political will isn’t going to be there soon enough. Europe is lost :( but their people can be saved."

I’m starting to think that perhaps this should be a serious consideration for our country especially where Germans, but also the other Euro countries that are now having housing shortages. Why shouldn’t we offer asylum to the Germans? They are far more culturally compatible and if their government is displacing them unfairly (which they are) then that should make an asylum request based on persecution a viable way to come here.

I would far rather spend my tax dollars (and they will be spent bringing in those suffering the effects of this war) on bringing in Germans being unfairly displaced by their own government than the Syrians and other eco-migrants that have actually been complaining about the quality of these residences that have been stolen for them! The fact that they are being removed from their homes is terrible beyond words, but for these people ‘running for their lives’ to look distastefully at the apartments and homes that have been provided for free to them, instead of tears of gratitude (which any genuine refugee suffering persecution would obviously be crying) they’re met with disdain and scorn. ‘Not good enough’ is all they seem to say.

It’s so disgusting its difficult to stay calm enough to write. The ingratitude is just palpable, these people are simply a blight that won’t go away even though they aren’t getting the luxury that they so ‘aptly’ deserve.

I find myself sickened by this whole affair. Angela Merkel should be ashamed. Then impeached. Then Jailed.

Well I suppose this is getting to be old news now, but I hope it never becomes outdated or irrelevant.

I still don’t understand, or am outraged, that the judge that ruled on the matter decided not to press the charter issue but focussed on the ‘fact’ that the government could not have a policy that disallowed a religious freedom, and that was why the court upheld the ruling that she could cover her face during the ceremony.

When it suits them, it’s a religious requirement, and when it’s more appropriate, it’s a cultural thing. Whatever works for the time/fight. That applies to both the Islamists that this woman obviously supports (I mean, it’s obvious that her strings are being pulled all the way) and the leftist media that seems to love Islam and all of it’s gloriously ‘peaceful’ culture.

In fact, they seem to love them more than anything Canadian to the point that if someone calls anything about Islam hateful, damaging, misogynistic, violent or hypocritical then THEY are accused of hate speech.

I see political/religious rally’s of Islamists screaming for the UK laws to go to hell, as well as their police. I see the Muslim response to the Danish cartoons where a man was screaming to ‘Drop bombs on them, declare war so that we can go and take their woman as war booty, Allah Akbar!’. When there is any response to this obvious and extremely overt hate speech, there is outcry and calls for people to be fired or prosecuted such as the French Far-Right politician that merely said it felt like they were being occupied like World War II when the Muslims fill the streets (and I mean they FILL them) for their prayers. They’re trying to put her in jail for speaking how she felt about it.

Apparently ’free speech in Europe and England are going the way they are in the USA and gradually in Canada. Only the Muslims or the Left have the right to free speech now.

Carrying signs that read ‘Behead all who insult Islam’ or ‘Islam will rule the earth’ or simply ‘All infidels must die’. Don’t those count as ‘hate speech’? Shouldn’t they?

Simply reading out the facts and statistics in Sweden that nine out of ten rapes in that country are being perpetrated by Muslim immigrants had the reporter arrested, charged with hate speech.

An undercover reporter had a camera in some European mosques and showed a very disturbing newscast revealing the radicalization going on in their normal day to day sermons and did he get a Pulitzer? Any awards? Praise?

Nope, he was arrested too. Charged with inciting hatred.

They don’t seem to understand, none of them get it at all even in Europe where it’s right there in front of their eyes. Islam is destroying them, Sharia Law is already in full swing in every ethnic conclave.

They don’t realize that Islamophobia isn’t really a phobia it’s a real and rational fear of a rapidly increasing danger.

Phobia – An irrational fear of danger that is only present in the mind.

The danger is present and most than ever it’s all around, growing with every stepping stone that leads us to Sharia Law. A Niqab, a Burka, Islamic rituals in our schools where no other are allowed, and Islamic sympathizers and agents in our country and our government (such as the two new Ontario Liberal that have pushed for Sharia before, and will again).

The danger is very real. Quite contrary to irrational fear, I believe that NOT fearing the growth of Islam and Sharia in our country like it has in all others that have welcomed Muslims is highly irrational.

The more we welcome these people, the more they will push, and when they finally have enough of a political force and a majority of citizens, then Islam will be here, and will never go away.

And my greatest and most rational fear is that while it’s not too late, there is no will of any kind left to stop it.

So why doesn’t one of our gutless governments invoke the notwithstanding clause on something like this? It would be a quick, legal remedy. If it won’t be used for this when will it be used?

@hyacinth: I have lived all my life in AB and my family always voted conservative.. I always did too.. but this year; conservatives have screwed big time.. I don’t care who you vote for.. my problem is with the amount of wrong and biased information which REBEL is so good at publishing.. perhaps you can answer those question in my post?

“seriously.. this is beyond pathetic.. " What is beyond pathetic is the sudden influx of Liberal bloggers to The Rebel in the last few hours of the election to post Liberal propaganda.

Zunera is the type who should have been weeded out before she got to the citizenship ceremony. Immigration Canada has to be more careful when screening immigrants.

Canada 2015 election prediction
Posted on October 17, 2015 by admin

Based on the latest polls, it’s pretty easy to predict a Liberal plurality (minority) win, with the Conservatives coming in second and the NDP coming in third. The Bloc and Greens will pick up 1 or a handful of seats each. But that’s not what I’m talking about in my prediction.

Nearly every newspaper in the country which has offered explicit endorsements for the Oct. 19 election has endorsed the Conservatives.

My prediction is that a vast number of die-hard Conservative supporters will nevertheless blame “lefty media bias” for their loss.

That’s how out to lunch you guys are.

The current prime minister, Herr Harper of the Northern Foundation, belongs to a Christian sect which believes that Christian sharia is the only legitimate basis for law.

Is that not worse?

Moreover, there isn’t a single media outlet in the country that is cheerleading for her. Rather, some of them are agreeing with the constitutional principle that it is not the right of government to make laws which dictate what people can wear, in particular when it comes to free religious expression.

Extremist shariah lawfare jihad like Ishaq’s poses a dilemma for and a challenge to our democracy. No one should ever underestimate the legal skills of our opponents. They isolated our system’s weakness fifty years ago and have been chipping away at ot since then.

Equality, tolerance, inclusion.

Our rule of law.

Canada’s justices and our leaders, all three branches of government, must develop a strategy to protect the weaknesses in our free society before they enslave us all.

Corruption is the worst offender. It makes friends with our enemies and lets them loose in our midst.

Few plausible theories:
• Paid by CBC
• Paid by Liberal and/or NDP branch office
• Receives some form of longstanding assistance
• A public sector employee sitting at their desk at work

“Rick, they’re over on the other article defending their savior of the red tent.” One has to wonder how these trolls have seemingly so much inordinate time to spend on this site. I’m beginning to believe as suggested by others that these intransigents are paid shills with a mission to disrupt. Who would have reason and money to fund such a task? CBC perhaps? Certainly rationale as they have already stated they dislike anything they cannot editorially control. Money? Not an issue when they are getting a billion plus of taxpayer dollars every year. Hardly their own money they’ve had to work for y’know!

That is quite a fashionable niqab Zunera is sporting with its color and pattern and Zunera sort of (by the eyes) looks like an attractive younger woman. Most niqabs I have seen in Toronto are usually solid black (sackcloth?) and the eyes and body shape suggest older overweight women. Funny Zunera does not wear these drab more staid niqabs that other Muslim women wear?
