No broken bones after “scofflaws” defy nanny state ban on popular Toronto toboggan hill

David MenziesMission Specialist

Toronto now resembles a winter wonderland... Too bad the No-Fun Police down at City Hall have banned one of Hogtown's most popular toboggan hills for supposed safety reasons.

Despite that ban, we (and some other scofflaws) tried out the hill in Riverdale Park.

And can you believe it? We had a lot of fun -- and suffered no broken bones!

It’s almost like they’re posting it for the liability issues…glorified “use at own risk” sign.

Wow…we had sheer drops, jumps, trees and a river at the bottom of our childhood hill. Today’s pussies are tomorrows bureaucrats.

BREAKING: Twenty-nine heavily armed members of the elite Toronto Fun Police SWAT team entered the home of far right Rebel host David “The Menzoid” Menzies this morning in a high risk pre-dawn raid.
Mr. Menzies was taken into custody, wearing only a Toronto Maple Leaf pajama jump suit.
Toronto Fun Police Sgt. Schultz indicated that Mr. Menzies was armed with an IBM Selectric typewriter. Schultz said “Yes the Selectric is old technology, but in the hands of an expert it can be very dangerous.”
Schultz went on to say that “Mr. Menzies is well known to the fun police.”
Mr. Menzies has been charged with Self Endangerment While Having Too Much Fun. Schultz commented “Mr. Menzies is not allowed to endanger himself, that’s our job.”
Using only their “reporters instincts” a CBC camera crew just happened to be on location to record the daring raid, film at 11:00.

That’s right Cal White.. Sort of like the “playground” at one Toronto public school which consists of one “gentle” mound in the middle of the yard…

Why does the left hate fun? Oh yeah because they are miserable and despise seeing others enjoy life.

Good for you, David! The City could have put up a “USE AT YOUR OWN RISK” sign but they opted to close the hill. Some laws are too stupid to be obeyed.

The build up led me to expect a hill from hell; the warning sign declared it! Yet it was a straight short run with no trees. Pretty much a pale green run.

I would hate to see the runs declared appropriate by Toronto. Must be flat to a maximum of one degree.

Wimperising the white race, banning young Gladiators from sorting the tough from the wimps, no wonder the white race is dying off.
Pretty good for an old timer David, lol.
