Did you catch the historic Super Bowl game in Houston? What a thrilling fourth quarter, but it might be the last time Houston ever gets to host a Super Bowl thanks to the NFL embracing the tyranny of political correctness.
A proposed bill in Texas, if passed, could mean that Houston and Dallas would no longer be considered to host the Super Bowl because Bill 6 requires people to use the bathroom corresponding with the gender on their birth certificates. Imagine that.
Yet again, the trannies are up in arms. Guys with penises pretending to be women, and women with vaginas pretending to be men, want to use whichever bathroom they damn well please, and incredibly, the NFL agrees.
Watch as I explain the NFL’s position, which is all about “inclusiveness”, and Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick’s response explaining why there’s nothing problematic about the bathroom bill.
But, it's not good enough. The NFL wants the bill banished entirely.
The most successful sports league in the world shouldn’t alienate its base. NFL TV ratings were down in the U.S., likely in part due to the Colin Kaepernick travelling freak show — a colossal turn-off for most football fans.
I’ll wager the NFL's hardline stance on something that only affects a minuscule number of people who might in fact be suffering from mental illness, is only going to further alienate those hardcore football fans the league depends on.
